- Feature Request: Enhancing Playlist Creation for Large YouTube Channels Thanks for the extension — it’s a great concept and clearly improving. However, to make it truly beneficial for power users and content archivists, I’d love to see the following features added: 1. Raise the Playlist Limit Beyond 150 Videos: The current cap of 150 videos per playlist is far too limiting, especially for massive channels like Saturday Night Live (https://www.youtube.com/@SaturdayNightLive/videos), which has over 9,400 videos. If users are willing to wait while the playlist builds, they should be able to create playlists with thousands of videos. Let us decide how long we’re willing to wait. 2. Add Date Range Filters for Playlist Creation: Allow users to specify a start and end date (e.g., 01/01/2000 to 31/12/2010) to generate playlists based on upload dates. This would make it easy to organize content chronologically and create manageable batches — even if the 150-video limit remains, users could build multiple playlists to span the full archive. 3. Include Watched/Unwatched Filters: Add a set of filter checkboxes to include videos based on their watch status: □ Watched □ Unwatched □ Both Watched/Unwatched (Default) This would help with progress tracking and personalized viewing. 4. Rename "First" Checkbox to “Unwatched": The term "First" is unclear and doesn’t reflect its function. "Unwatched" is more intuitive and aligns with user expectations. These features would make the extension far more useful for serious viewers, researchers, and fans who want to explore entire video libraries. Thanks again for your ongoing updates — looking forward to seeing what’s next!
