Automatically maximizes any tab that is dragged out of a window.

Re-enables the ability that automatically maximizes tabs that are dragged off of the main window.
Chrome 100 and some other versions lack this feature, this extension allows you to use it again.
Comes with the option to toggle it on or off.
Particularly useful if you have multiple monitors or use multiple chrome windows at once.
Unfortunately does not seem to work on mac.

- not sure why, but I noticed this is working again after I left a review in July 2022 of it no longer working. Works great on single tabs I've tested, using Chrome & Slimjet on Windows 10 x64

- Can you please make it so it works when dragging MULTIPLE tabs as well!!? It works fantastic with just 1 tab, but I am often dragging at least 2-3 tabs at once that I have preselected/highlighted with the Ctrl key or Shift keys and my mouse. will change to 5 star if you can enable it to work with MULTIPLE tabs.

- Finally an extension that brings back my favorite Chrome feature. The only issue with this extension is that you if you drag the tab too fast it won't maximize it. You'll get the feel for it once you try it a couple times. Otherwise it works great!

- Thank you very much! I got this extension today 6/23/22 and tested several times; it's working great so far. I have google chrome "Version 103.0.5060.53 (Official Build) (64-bit)"... Will update if I have any issues. Google needs to fix/undo this change though. Also, bring back youtube dislike counter ffs.

- works great on single tabs I've tested, using Slimjet & Windows 10 x64 Why are Chrome tabs no longer maximized when detached? This is a new behavior in Google Chrome, version 100.0.xxxx.xx and up. The latest versions of Chrome no longer remember the size of your current window when dragging a Chrome tab out of a maximized window. This in turn forces the new tab window to resize itself to the previously sized non-maximized, regular window. This forces you to maximize the new window manually which — we can attest to it! — is be quite a pain if you are a heavy user of Chrome.

- Unfortunately it is not working for me. I usually use drag to new window for multiple tabs, and this extension does absolutely nothing for that. Thanks for trying though.

- I'm sure this works well for others, but it has done absolutely nothing for me, even after restarting Google Chrome and my entire computer. I think perhaps it's because my computer is a Mac, so perhaps the extension doesn't have Mac compatibility – would love to be able to use this extension properly, so hopefully you can update it for Mac capacity soon!
