- (2023-09-14) misti lol: it opens and pins a facebook ad or other scam shopping websites on its own when i open a shopping website like amazon, flipkart, etc. the link is not related to such shopping apps and is very likely a scam or virus this extension is not even supposed to do that and its job is to block spotify ads but it just makes the music stop and we have to go and manually unpause the music. big scam

It stops music completely after about 4 songs too, making you have to manually go and skip back, then forward to continue the music. I regret installing this extension and I lost my personal account with thousands of hours listened. Old Review: Good extension to minimize the restrictions on Spotify Free. Expected it to barely work, worked flawlessly. Only issue is the queue only visually freaks out, but doesn't actually bother the music. I haven't experienced any ads after installing. However, this extension does come from a sketchy publisher. I would recommend only allowing it access to "open.spotify.com" and nothing else, just to be safe.
