  • (2025-05-27) Charles Magnuson: Isolation Mode is the coolest thing I've ever seen occur in Chrome. I cannot express how happy I am to discover this tool. It's saved me so much time and from many headaches.
  • (2025-04-10) Rodney Andersen: Works a couple of times then stops.
  • (2025-03-26) StrongGuy (Matt): Honestly helped me debug a malicious/redirecting extension, so im happy about that, a couple of bugs reguarding it sometimes not enabling extensioms but besides that it works just reinstalled and manually renabled everyting, this could have been due to me removing one of the extnsions. Im guessing thats it based on this review "Removing extension from whitelist turns it off even when disable is not used" - By Jagvinder.

  • (2025-02-06) De'Voy Edwards: Naoris Protocol Browser Security Node extension blocks things like the comment bar in Reddit and the Write a review button in the chrome web store... thanks for helping me find the culprit
  • (2025-01-23) prismriver: In Isolation Mode, extensions that are not enabled also participate in testing. Is this a bug? Edit:I have many disabled extensions because I occasionally need to use them, so I haven't removed them. If all of them are included in the test, the browser will become very laggy and automatically open many welcome pages of the extensions. Could you add a setting in the future to exclude disabled extensions from the test? Thanks.
  • (2025-01-22) Bruno Piercamilli: Works great! helped me debug an issue where i couldnt login to HR platform (apparently ronin wallet extension likes to jumpscare workers lol).
  • (2024-12-30) Matt: Takes too long to respond, 10+ seconds to disable extensions without a visual indication that the extension works. Much better alternatives are available.
  • (2024-12-04) Jesús Cruz: It works, but it also permanently disables the browser theme. Enabling extensions back doesn't re-enable the theme. There doesn't seem to be any way to re-enable manually either, it needs to be re-installed.
  • (2024-11-20) Krstia no: this extension is exactly what i came here for it does it job so perfectly i downloaded it cuz i had some trouble with transferring payment so i installed this and now i bought the stuff i wanted thank u developer <333
  • (2024-10-12) Mike DiDomizio: I was having issues with a website, I realized everything worked fine in anonymous browsing. Normally I would go through the process of trial and error and enable extensions until I figured out what was the culprit. This extension, specifically the isolation mode, allowed me to quickly bisect and speed up the process to under a minute. The UI/UX is great, not clunky. Awesome extension.
  • (2024-10-11) IMgitnBaned: Ha ha. Blocked an Admin extension. Best extension ever!
  • (2024-10-09) cool dude: Really great extension, love the ease of use especially the Isolation Mode to find a conflicting or broken extension.
  • (2024-10-09) Adam A.: No longer turning extensions back on after disabling them
  • (2024-10-03) Craig Deskins: Makes diagnosing possible faulty extensions so much quicker and easier. Like using a air compressor to fill a tire rather than using a bicycle pump.
  • (2024-09-21) Lesley Grant: This extension is a life saver! Had an issue with playing YouTube videos (but the videos were playing in incognito mode), I figured there was a faulty extension. I used isolation mode and in less than a minute removed the faulty extension and now my videos are playing. Thanks, cus I have a ton of extensions!
  • (2024-09-09) Andy Liu: Isolation mode is absolute genius, great extension! It smartly disables half of your extensions at a time to figure out which extension might be causing a website to not work for you.
  • (2024-08-31) deepak shankar: I was having a problem with the faulty extension. Isolation mode found it in 10 seconds. Perfect app
  • (2024-08-26) Alex: Isolation mode doesn't work when The number of extensions is large. An error occurs: QUOTA_BYTES_PER_ITEM quota exceeded
  • (2024-08-11) Axron: Everything works flawlessly for me, but I have one issue with themes. There's no option to whitelist themes, so every time I disable all my extensions, the theme gets reset. It would be great if you could add a feature to whitelist themes. Thanks for all your hard work!
  • (2024-07-31) Ayoub Chicha: For a few weeks now Chrome was freezing and lagging and crashing aggressively on certain websites, and specific functionalities were barely usable. This extension helped me isolate the issue and fix it, highly recommend it!
  • (2024-07-31) Mike Wells: Thanks for this great extension !!! Youtube recently stopped playing all videos in my Brave Browser. I have a ton of extensions and dreaded the task of finding the guilty culprit. After install I turned all extensions off in a second. BOOM, Youtube video is now playing in Brave. OK, but lets find the guilty party. I started isolation mode and it quickly zeroed in on the troublemaker. uBlock Origin 1.58.0. I disabled that one and Youtube is back to normal. Don't hesitate, download this extension to make your life a lot easier.
  • (2024-07-15) Vinicius de Moraes: Great extension, minimal size! Isolation mode is a great idea! One minor note on how it could be improved: When starting to perform the search, use only the extensions already currently enabled. For e.g. - I have a lot of extensions that I only need sporadically, so I leave them disabled; However when I try to use Isolation mode here, it enables half of everything anyway, and I get 10 new tabs poping out (extensions options, first-install page, etc), and some "new permissions" requests for extensions that have been updated in the meantime I had them installed but disabled.
  • (2024-07-11) Aqaratt Kw: amazing it has also has Whitelist option =) all the best 10xxx 🇰🇼
  • (2024-07-07) Jesper Hertel: Mostly works brilliantly, and is very easy to use, if only you are careful. But be aware that if you disable extensions with this, and you have Chrome synchronization turned on, it immediately disables extensions on all other synchronized computers too. And from the other computers, you cannot re-enable them again by clicking the button – you can only do that on the computer on which you disabled them. So you can be in a situation where you cannot reactivate your extensions for a while, for instance when you are out travelling with your laptop but disabled extensions from your home computer and forgot to enable them again. In that case your only choice on the laptop is to enable each extension by hand – and then you have to be able to remember which extensions you have normally enabled. This takes away one star. Also, the "Isolate extensions" mode is severely broken. The effect it had for me was that it disabled all extensions but enabled some that I had disabled (!). And there was no way to get back to my large normal set of enabled extensions before using the disastrous "Isolate extensions" mode. So stay away from that mode if you don't want to lose your current set of enabled extensions. This takes away another star.
  • (2024-06-21) Jeffrey Narzabal: retarded extension
  • (2024-06-13) Felipe: Works flawlessly. I can easily find the extension that's causing problems when following the Isolation Mode steps, and even when I just quickly need the extensions gone for a single website or compatibility test, it toggles everything in the touch of a button. If you're having issues, just take a minute to troubleshoot correctly and everyone can do it. A+ work, thank you very much!
  • (2024-06-12) OstepopSalat: good
  • (2024-05-17) Jeff State: This my preferred extension, when compared to similar ones. One suggestion: please keep developing the Isolation Mode feature. As more browser extensions are dumped into the marketplaces, Isolation Mode proportionately increases in value.
  • (2024-05-11) wez: very nice, but isolation method does not work until the end. I got 4 extensions activated now, but no YES / NO question to complete it. edit: request: enable all extensions
  • (2024-03-26) Mateus Leite: Very useful, thank you
  • (2024-03-14) Daniel Данилюк: Very useful, am able to disable government tracking system on computer and evade child benefit I owe. Thank you kind sir for such opportunity
  • (2024-02-09) Shikhir Arora: Awesome open-source extension. Like others, this helped me identify an extension causing an issue with a site. Only suggestion is the colour of the icon in the toolbar for the extension blends in with the Chrome Canary dark default theme on macOS, but otherwise, this is an example of a utility that just works.
  • (2024-02-08) Lutz Hohle: Useful. Exactly what i looked for to find out, if one of my about 100 extensions is the source of the problems with a page.
  • (2024-02-08) ARLIDAR: The best, congratulations to the developers!
  • (2024-01-23) Adam Tulloss: Almost perfect! I love the idea of the isolation mode, unfortunately it wasn't working for me. There's an error on line 99 of isolation.js. If the developer replaces this line with iconImg.src = extension && extension.icons && extension.icons[0] ? extension.icons[0].url : 'https://www.google.com/images/icons/product/chrome-32.png'; and just use any fallback image if there's no icon, it works great!
  • (2024-01-14) Sharukh Sm: It just works! Simple extension to turn off the clutter extensions
  • (2023-10-20) Gojo Dev: Very useful for web development, does what it says and is easy to use.
