I recently got a new PC at work & had forgotten that some of the functionality within my browser was not native. Since it interacts so seamlessly with Chrome & improves the usability of Youtube dramatically IMO, eventually it just ends up seeming like it's always been that way. Once my new computer got set up, one of the first things I had to re-enable was Toppings. Who would've thought that watching YT videos at normal playback speed would become so unbearable? Also thankful for the automatically-skips-shorts feature.
