This extension allows users to download sections of a Twitch VOD within the browser.

**Now allows for viewing/downloading stories, highlights and clips.
Deleted VOD recovery is always going to be a shot in the dark. There will be missing segments and sometimes the VOD will not be available at all. No VODs are available after 60 days. Very few are available after 7 days.
Version 3.21 update: (11 Feb 2025)
1) Bug fix- Addressed remaining icon issues with the recent darkmode changes
2) Bug fix- Addressed scrollbar issue on the icon introduced in last update
3) Bug fix- Addressed issue where saved resolution not existing within the current VOD resolution caused failure for VOD to load.
4) Bug fix- Addressed issue where users were allowed to run a search with nothing in the input field

1) UI change- Added ability to select from 6 different border/button color options within the settings menu.
2) UI change- Added ability to change resolution selection on the download page rather than just taking the selection from the VOD view.
3) UI change- Added settings for default file name format. (no. mp4 is not available)
4) Bug fix- Failure to retrieve hidden VODs no longer blocks retrieving the displayed VODs. This does not yet address the underlying issue where some people are getting blocked from accessing hidden VODs.
5) Bug fix- Addressed issue with mod view where channel name did not populate.
6) Bug fix- Addressed issues with dark mode setting.
7) Bug fix- Addressed issue with file name where end time was the start of the last fragment instead of the end -- thus causing the time displayed to be off by around 10 seconds.
8) Bug fix- Addressed issue where fractional fragments were causing the slider UI to fail to re-align on window resize.
9) UX change- Clicking any view will bring it to the front/top of the stack. Prior behavior required a user to drag a view to bring to the front.

1) Bug fix- Addressed issue with VOD controls interference with view dragging.

1) Bug fix- Addressed issue with VODs sometimes failing to be found where streamer name includes underscore.
2) Bug fix- Addressed issue with file names on multiple file downloads.
3) Downloading multiple files no longer requires the tab to remain in view.
4) Added ability to download stories.
5) Added chat view back where available. Not all VODs or even livestreams will have chat available.
6) Added titles to recent streams menu where available.
7) Added color to the resize edge of containers in an effort be more visible.
8) Added menu for users to review updates.
9) Added slider selector back to the VOD download.

- Twitch has updated some of it's servers which is causing some vods to not work. Also the Live's don't work at all. This app is in desperate need of an update.

- Not sure what changed but now it will not recover any deleted/unpublished vods. A couple weeks ago it was able to recover some of them.

- Dowaload as one file ,the file download stops on its own, and the downloaded file is incomplete.

- I've entered all the information into the boxes, ive clicked the arrows, nothing opens or changes. The button on the youtube video at the top is not there. Can't get it to work, ive even looked at other tutorials.

- Please, I would greatly appreciate it if, when downloading, the default file name started with the VOD date. For example: "July 23, 2025" or something similar. This way, there's no need to do it manually.

- I've been using it for over a year, and I can say it's the best for downloading hidden VODs. But since last week it's not loading any VODs. I don't know what's going on.

- some streams work some don't. and sometimes it doesn't even load a full stream and doesn't start from the beginning. for example it'll load a random 2 hour part in the middle of the stream and not from the beginning.

- it works but i just want to say Version 2.30 was working better and has more features like using twitchtracker links and .m3u8 link to download (i remember that i used a twitchtracker link to download a hidden vod and it worked better than the list) also the chat history was a very good idea but sadly it got removed (and yes i know "temporarily" i don't care it's been 5 months since it got removed) i didn't like the new ui and maybe a lot of people like it so make optional to choose between the new and old ui also make it optional to choose downloading in a new tab or at twitch tab also when a streamer streams twice in a day the extension shows the second stream and not the first one so i wish you will fix it another annoying thing which is when i select the resolution of the vod in the downloading tab it doesn't download the vod on the resolution i selected but downloads it on the resolution of the vod player (i mean when i try to watch the vod on the player and select 360p the vod will be downloaded as 360p video) I am sorry if this review looks harsh but believe me you do not know to what degree i got disappointed because of the last updates starting with version 3.11

- Works very well for viewing vods that didnt save or are not public, but couldnt get the download to work. anyone else having this problem and know how to fix it?

- Works as intended and can list hidden VODs for view/download (not Music/DJ streams because these are not saved on the servers at all). Only problem: Browser Extension FFZ (FrankerFaceZ) with the Setting "navigation bar minimizing" let the Extension button be still there despite the navigation bar is minimized. This problem was not there in version 2.31 and is new with version 3.x

- Hello, I’m having an issue using this extension. The VOD is not available on the regular Twitch, but I found the VOD through Twitch VOD Download. However, when I click to watch the VOD, it keeps searching and searching... then it stops loading and doesn’t open the VOD. The VOD is from February 19, 2025, at 7:34, and the streamer's name is SkipNhO. Could you help me?

- I wish this worked for Highlights, but even then, the quality it downloads is just the same as the regular downloader. It downloads them with a darker tin to them.
