- (2023-09-04) Matt Zietzke: Literally just found this extension and tested it once, so I may be missing bugs or something in this review. With that said, I've been searching for a good tool with which to write notes on youtube videos without a) creating an account, or b) leaving the Youtube interface... I want it to be right there, a seamless experience so that I can identify something I want to take a note on, then move on without losing the context of the video so that I can later come back and review what I've marked and focus on how that information relates to my existing notes. FINALLY found an app that lets me do that. This one. Thanks to the developer! Some quick feedback (maybe I'm missing some functionality on first look). I don't see a hotkey to create a mark, nor do I see a way to set one. I'm using Vivaldi, so perhaps this is available somewhere in Chrome but not Vivaldi. Would be great to have such an option! Also, I don't yet know if this would fit into my own workflow, but I know others find it valuable... Options to export notes from a video, or from all videos would be useful. For my own purposes, if I were to choose this option, a markdown file for each video would be perfect. With that said, the functionality already given is great, so long as it works and continues to work. Keep these basics maintained and I'll be happy.
