This tool is intended to help people who have lots (maybe even hundreds!) of tabs open. When they restore all those tabs at once, their open videos might start playing! Instead of having to search through all the open windows and pause the videos one by one, this extension gives a simple button that pauses every video at once.

- (2025-07-24) Debra H: Hey Christopher - Resume all videos at once would be FANTASTIC when viewing different cameras/views of the same event and want them in sync. Specifically, when watching cycling, they have a single camera stream and a multi-camera stream of the same race with the same commentary on both streams but NOT the same info on each stream (like how much of the race is left, time gaps, etc). I have 2 tabs open and cast to 2 different screens and have to do a lot of back 10sec/forward 10sec to try to sync it. Would LOVE a RESUME ALL!

- (2024-05-29) Anthony: Nice addon. I am one of the users that have a few hundreds Chrome tabs open (even grouped by category). The problem is, when you need to reboot, many of the Chrome windows that have videos on it, start playing all at the same time.. so often, I would have to go find the tabs to stop the video from playing. Now, with this addon, I just pause all videos at once and click on Play on the one video I need. Great job!!
- (2024-05-25) Niklas L.: Really nice addon. I second the suggestion of another user to add an option to resume all videos, specifically only the videos that were previously playing. (It's useful for synchronizing multiple videos such as full length reaction videos.)
- (2024-02-14) Trey Butte: Love this for work so I can pause what I was listening to without having to bring the video up front and center in front of my colleagues. I agree with the other guy on wanting a resume feature as well, instead of using this for pausing everything on every tab I use it more so just for media control while working so I don't get judged for whatever odd topics may be presented in my video podcasts. It'd be a bit odd for my coworkers if they were to see dead bodies pop up on my screen or something if I'm watching true crime for example.
