An extension allowing you to use more than one Bookmarks Bar.
[HOW TO USE]
All available bookmark bars will show up in the extension popup.
To switch between them, just click the one you would
like to switch to.
Alternatively, you can also switch using keyboard shortcuts. The default bindings are:
- Ctrl + UpArrow/DownArrow: Switch to the next or previous bookmark bar.
- Ctrl + Shift + 1: Switch to the first bookmark bar.
- Ctrl + Shift + 2: Switch to the second bookmark bar.
Additional shortcuts are available. To assign them or redefine existing shortcuts visit chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
You can add, rename, reorder and remove bookmark bars from within the extension:
- Add: Type the name of your new bar into the input field at the bottom and confirm with `Enter` or by clicking the PLUS-button.
- Edit: Either use the EDIT-button next to the bar you want to modify or double-click it. Type the new name and confirm with `Enter` or by clicking the SAVE-button.
- Reorder: Drag the bookmark bar to its desired position with the mouse and drop it.
- Remove: Enter the EDIT mode and click the DELETE button.
[HOW IT WORKS]
The extension exchanges the bookmarks inside the current bookmark bar with the ones within a chosen folder in the "Bookmark Bars" directory. The current bookmark bar will be backed up to a folder in "Bookmark Bars". The current bookmark bar will be called ***"My first bookmark bar 🚀"*** when you first install the extension.

- (2023-07-16) DoYouWantaHug: So, after 4 months I had to try it again. It worked for 10 minutes. The function behind is: the bookmarks will be copied into the bookmarks bar. So if you switch between the bars, the one will be cutted and pasted in the "normal" path in its standard folder. The other ones will be cutted and pasted in the bookmark bar. But now I had to notice that this process wont be realized clean. Several bookmarks of an other bookmark will be displayed now in my "home & office". Important bookmarks of an judical case I collected are everywhere, but not there where they have to be. So, my question is: is there a limit for bookmarks your tool is able to handle clean?

And I really appreciate the latest update, where the bars are nicer and smoother. Other extensions like this are heavy. Congrats and thank you.
- (2023-03-18) Timo König: I only found the older version of this extension, so I migrated it myself to V3 and made it useable for Opera too. 2h later I found this :D and had the same idea of the shortkeys! Thanks. P.S.: For Opera-Users, the folder "Bookmark Bar" is saved in "Imported Bookmarks" and not "Other Bookmarks". The other Folder is has the ID 5 in Opera.
