Description from store Imagine a messy browser window, congested with tabs. rami offers a simple routine for cleaning up such windows: - Launch rami in the messy window. - When launched, rami loads a “tab container” for each open tab in the window. - Start at the first container and individually consider each tab: - Hover the container to view the tab, quickly identifying it. - Close the tab if you don’t need it, - Set aside the tab if you are hesitant to close, - Leave the tab open if you are currently working on it. - You are done cleaning up the window once you have made the - set-aside|discard|keep - decision for every tab in it. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Buttons to set aside and close are inside the containers, easy to reach, making the cleanup process faster. - rami is dynamic - any changes within the rami window are immediately reflected in the browser window and vice versa. rami assigns a storage to each open window. When you set aside a tab, it is automatically placed in the storage of its parent window. This allows for one-click set-aside, as you don’t have to decide where to store the tabs. You simply set aside a tab, knowing exactly where it will be stored. Retrieving set-aside tabs from storage is very easy: - All storages are only two clicks away, accessible from the rami window. - Conveniently, you can preview the set-aside tabs before returning them to their parent windows. When a window is closed, its storage is automatically archived. Additional features: - From within the rami window: - Conduct a convenient drag and drop of tabs within and across windows. - Bring any open window in focus to clean it up or access its storage. - Context menu set-aside - right-click a tab and select “Set Aside”. * rami is free | no sign-up *

  • (2025-02-22) Lotus: Hey I like it a lot, would be great if I could export all my sessions. If you don't plan to add such feature can I be confident that I wont lose them after browser cleans up? I use Vivaldi and it does it quite often when system runs low on storage and in the end extension memory is cleaned up. Update: I lost my data and rami has no export/import yet... I am lowering my 4 stars to 1.

  • (2024-04-15) Kuzivakwashe Mavera: I juggle multiple projects frequently and often end up with 50+ tabs which is difficult to manage and keep track of. I’ve been using rami for a week now and it has significantly improved my organization and management of my tabs. Rami has quite an intuitive and efficient tab sorting feature which allows me to organize tabs into neatly categorized groups and also easily retrieve them. This extension runs smoothly and has become an integral part of my daily browsing experience. Kudos to the developers for creating such a user-friendly and helpful tool. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking to tidy up their web clutter.

With just a few clicks, I can neatly categorize, group, and label my open tabs, making it a breeze to keep my workspace clutter-free and organized. One of the standout features of this extension is its ability to save and restore tab groups. • (2023-10-09) David Bulbulashvili: I give 5 stars to this application as it made my research process fast, smooth, and effective. Fast because it’s on right mouse click to put a website aside and it will be kept there despite whether the browser is closed or not. Smooth because, while reading an article, there were reference links moving to another tab and here I could memorize them all on a move. and effective because as a result I have all my sessions recorded for farther reference, it’s like creating a thematic library. Very cool and highly recommend.
