• (2023-10-16) Greg G11: I spent about 100 hours doing folders and renaming everything and it kept popping up for permissions so i said yes, then i find this plugin changed a site i use for trading and i could not exit my trade as it re-arranged all the floating windows. Then while troubleshooting with the exchange i had to delete cache so i deleted everything then stopped plugins, when i stopped this plugin all sites worked normally. I come back to chatGPT where all my work was and it's all gone no folders. This sort of stuff even on a free version and losing peoples work simply means we never recommend at all this and i won't it is now deleted and i'll find another way to do what i want that is risk free. Once you lose all that there is no going back and doing it again it is not work it. But hey you want people to upgrade to get a back up!

WORST PART IS WHEN I UNINSTALLED, IT DELETED MY THREADS.

However, as soon as I upgraded, all my chats vanished into thin air. Quite frustrated, I cancelled the subscription, and like magic, my chats reappeared. It's safe to say, I'm feeling a bit let down by this experience.
• (2023-08-07) Maria Ramonova: Great idea and a needed one until OpenAI comes up with its one version, but the plugin does not work well at all. The UI is slow, unresponsive and unintuitive. The messages once inside the folder reappear outside of it. New Chat messages appear that you cannot access. Folders once created can disappear whenever. It's pretty much unusable.

The nested folder feature is fantastic, the search function is really powerful, and being able to pin important parts of my conversations is just the cherry on top. Also, being a Pro Lifetime subscriber, I can vouch for the syncing feature? it works flawlessly. A possible improvement? Perhaps the ability to export conversations in different formats would be nice.

• (2023-07-28) Trey Lumley: Great so far. Simple organization goes a long way. I use ChatGPT for work and have the plus plan, so it's a great asset to have a folder system (somewhat) natively in the app. That way I can manage my personal creative endeavors with my work endeavors and delete everything else that's unneeded. Eventually, a search function would be great. But I happy with it's current state for now.

CONS: However, the extension tends to slow down the overall site performance. Additionally, there are instances where you need to click twice to open the chat, which can be frustrating. The major drawback is that when creating a new chat and the AI is still generating, if you attempt to input another prompt, it notifies you that a prompt is already generating. Unfortunately, instead of continuing from where you left off, it reruns the previous answer, requiring a page refresh to continue writing. Another limitation is the inability to export or sync folders, rendering any effort put into organizing on a new browser useless. Even the premium features, which are supposed to address these issues, do not work properly.

• (2023-07-08) Jeff Elder: I was really exited when I found this extension. I'm at the point where I need to have the ability to organize my chats. But I was disappointed when I tried using this extension. Whenever I create folders and add chats to them and the browser refreshed all my folder names get reset and any chats I had organized under the folder would get removed so I had to rename the folder again and then add the chat to that folder again.
• (2023-07-06) Benton Minges: I loving this extension! Been using it for a while but recently it is not able to read the default chat name. The one that ChatGPT creates. New chats just get stuck as 'New Chat'. I've verified the default names are working by turning off the extension and looking at the chat name, which is indeed not 'New Chat'. Would love a fix for this as it is annoying to have to go rename the chats manually.

I spent more than an hour a few days ago creating folders and moving chats into then. Now, I have dozens of chats for which I need to create new folders and then move each chat back to where it had been.

• (2023-06-15) Nicholas Finch (tisaconundrum): Great small-sized extension that does what it says it does. I was going to say that it's annoying that my folders aren't transferable to another machine. However, I knew that this data had to be stored somewhere. And wouldn't you know it? It's stored in localStorage. So, if you're like me and need to get your folders transferred over to another machine, you can "sync" them by going into the Debug console and typing `localStorage.nodes`. This will get you all of your stored folders in a single JSON payload. You can then email that to yourself, and then on that other machine do the same thing, but this time do `localStorage.nodes = [...]` whatever your data may be. I'm hoping eventually some kind of API could be built with the extension that allows for easier syncing between systems, but for now, I'll accept having to download the data through the console and getting something working. Great extension overall.
• (2023-06-15) Doug Montgomery: So far so good and it is pretty handy. A couple of things... When you get a good amount of folders created it does seem to take quite a bit of time to load up. Second, it would be nice if it didn't automatically open a folder when you add something to it. I'm trying to organize my existing conversations and it's a real pain in the arse. It shouldn't just open the folder when you add something to it. I hope to see more out of this extension in the future.
