  • (2024-07-08) Trevor S.: Does not clip. It just creates a note with the webpage as a title and the URL in the body. You get a chance to edit the note, but let's say you want to copy and paste into the note... if you click away, the chrome dialog box goes away, so you can only paste in one block of text that hopefully you copied before clicking the web clipper button. Better than nothing, but not quite what I want.
  • (2024-04-26) David J Longman: As other reviewers have noted, this clipper works very well. It is simple to use and easily managed. It clips the URL of a page and also allows a note to be added. It's very like Google Keep in style. It does not copy page contents - there are other clippers that do that (and do you really want to fill your writing space with screeds of web content?). For me, when writing something on a specific topic, it's great to have just the links and perhaps a note or two placed directly into an Obsidian vault where I can then follow up. A nice tool. Limitation: in its present form you can only assign a vault to save a link via the options. Might be easier/quicker to be able to do this in the clipper interface because I sometimes want to put links in different vaults.
  • (2024-03-06) Kim Enghusen: Yeah it's simple, but it is exacty what I want.
  • (2024-03-06) Osama Zero: easy and simple, just as I like it. (Ben is saying nonsense) the extension is awesome. I have tried every clipper for obsidian, but this is the best so far.
  • (2024-02-07) Ben: I'm not sure why this extension exists, since it doesn't clip content from a webpage, it just pastes the URL into a new Obsidian note along with anything you type. What is the point of that?
  • (2024-01-19) Adam Berry: working great for me
