TTV LOL PRO removes most livestream ads from Twitch.

Image from store TTV LOL PRO
Description from store TTV LOL PRO removes most livestream ads from Twitch. This is free, don't expect it to be perfect. TTV LOL PRO is a fork of TTV LOL that: - uses an improved ad blocking method, - uses standard HTTP proxies (thus improving proxy compatibility and your privacy), - adds a stream status widget to the popup, - lets you whitelist channels, - lets you use your own proxies. TTV LOL PRO does not remove banner ads, nor does it remove ads from VODs. For the best experience, we recommend using uBlock Origin alongside TTV LOL PRO. Any questions? • (2025-07-11) Anton Lim: Twitch seems to be forcibly pausing the stream every 30 seconds or so with this extension installed as of July 10th, 2025
  • (2025-07-08) GOOGLE BG: COOL
  • (2025-07-03) Sonny Lisi: Doesn't block any ads. Yes, I'm using uBlock Origin alongside it.
  • (2025-06-25) Jsp: All good

  • (2025-06-20) Omabat: for those idiots who didn't bother reading the overview, use it with ublock origin it actually works
  • (2025-06-19) Aymen Hamid: Got this a few days ago. Now it only blocks the ad, not the interruption.
  • (2025-05-05) Daniel P: doesnt work anymore, it freezes the stream completely
  • (2025-04-17) Devon Welch: This is hands-down one of the best Twitch ad blockers out there—but only if you set it up correctly. A lot of the negative reviews are from people using the default setup, which relies on free proxies. Those free proxies are overloaded and slow, so ad-blocking ends up being inconsistent. Here’s the key: join the Discord and donate $1/month to the developer. That unlocks premium proxies, and once you switch to those, the extension works exactly as intended—smooth and ad-free. Also make sure you’re using uBlock Origin alongside it for best results. If you're willing to spend a buck and follow the setup steps, this extension is flawless. Don’t let the 3-star reviews fool you.
  • (2025-03-29) Carl Lucho: If you only use this as a Twitch Adblock it seems to work most of the time. You will have to eat some "Commercial break in progress" screens every now an then. Bad thing is you have to manually start each stream and wait a lil bit for it to load.
  • (2025-03-21) hgavdv: Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It's frustrating
  • (2025-03-16) Stefan ter Veer: Doesn't work at all. Only "ad in progress..."
  • (2025-03-09) Piotr Jarosz: 09.03.2025 WORKIING
  • (2025-02-14) mike: Doesn't work.
  • (2025-02-02) Liam: Cant solve ""Commercial break in progress"
  • (2025-01-28) Tom: Cant get drops from twitch with this extension.
  • (2025-01-26) Spocckce Delton: It didn't block any ads at all!
  • (2025-01-15) Val Ellis: doesnt work
  • (2024-11-07) Han Tian: works for me skips ads ty.
  • (2024-10-30) Jeremy: The app is great when it works, but lately I've encounter black screens with spinning circles. It's quicker to just endure the ads. Very hit or miss, but it's always worth a shot.
  • (2024-10-08) Charles: No longer functions whatsoever, will disable any and all streams until turned off
  • (2024-10-08) Charles: No longer functions whatsoever, will disable any and all streams until turned off
  • (2024-09-30) J. Collins: Apparently, this extension works fine. I'm just using it "wrong". To get the most out of this extension, you need to use your own custom proxies. Either that, or just watch Twitch in off-peak hours, as the default proxies are constantly being bombarded by users, this cannot handle the traffic. None of this is clear in the instructions whatsoever and only given as an option. In my original review, I mentioned this this extension "doesn't seem to do much other than making things take longer to load" and change actual ads into "commercial break in progress" windows — which still take 30 seconds to run through. I stand by that statement for the reasons stated above. Further, I am keeping my rating at 1-out-of-5 stars even though I'm "not using it properly" because this extension, in and of itself, does not fulfill any of my expectations. Please, consider remedying this in the future. Thank you.
  • (2024-09-14) Lulu Rainsong: Works great now on MS Edge, thank you! If you know, IT ACTUALLY DID ANYTHING AT ALL.
  • (2024-08-15) Roger Lin: Constant black screens or a Commercial break in progress image. Might as well watch ads at this point.
  • (2024-07-28) Armando Marino: Deson't work, it tells me that theres a commercial break in progress.
  • (2024-07-08) Luke R: Works perfectly when not using a public proxy. If you can spare like $3-$5 a month on a VPS/instance hosted in the right country that doesn't get served ads (and it really can be as cheap as it gets, it barely uses any resources) and just install squid and paste in the suggested squid.conf from their site, you've got a perfect ad blocker. There's a little knowhow involved there, helps to know how to navigate linx/edit files. I just made a $5 droplet in Germany and it's working flawlessly for now, oddly as I thought they got served ads. They've got a list on their site of good countries to pick. You can just buy the proxies directly which can be even cheaper and less involved, I think the devs of this project sell access to their private ones for $1/month but a cheap vps/shared instance with a dedicated IPv4 is guaranteeing you're the only one using it so less likely to stop working. Looks like most complaints with this are stemming from people just installing it and expecting it to work, but fair enough as not everyone can be bothered to buy a proxy/server. The public servers that are in the settings by default will be being detected with so many people using them and will cause either ads to show eventually or the purple screen. Love the way it only needs to proxy a few requests/the m3u8 playlist so the proxy hardly needs to do any work, the video all still loads through your own connection. Doesn't even show a pre-roll whilst loading, just opens the stream immediately. Might say paying kind of defeats the purpose but I was paying for Turbo until it stopped working even with an active subscription, and this solution still works out at least 3x cheaper than Turbo and Twitch gets nothing 🎉 For TV box/nvidia shield and also mobile I just use a VPN app I'm already paying for and pick the right countries. VPN+$5 droplet combined still cheaper than turbo. Only reason I don't just use VPN on desktop too is the split tunnelling feature of my provider Mullvad doesn't work for all apps so it unnecessarily proxies things I don't want proxying, so I needed a solution like this really. Nicely put together!
  • (2024-07-01) li the sir: not perfect but it does work
  • (2024-06-06) Leo Kicklighter: Does not function as described at time of review; useless.
  • (2024-05-24) Noah Rucker: streams dont load extension is never updated quite terrible indeed
  • (2024-05-24) ShenaniganZone: does not work has not been updated in almost a year zero out of 10
  • (2024-05-08) Jk: Getting ads all day long.. no matter what settings I use. Useless. I get less ads using just an Ublock Origin alone than UB:O + TTV LOL PRO, isn't that funny? (I'm getting 2 minute ads with this garbage add-on... something that I've never experienced in my 11 years of watching Twitch)
  • (2024-05-06) Hastings: my goats every other ad blocker stopped working and i got put on to this thank you
  • (2024-05-02) c0L c: Works for me don't know if its because I have another adblock but press the whitelist button, install ublock origin.
  • (2024-05-01) James: Useless. Getting ads no matter what level the "Passport" slider is on.
  • (2024-04-22) G Guy: Installed and set it up with default settings AND proxies that ARE from ad-free countries as said below and all I'm getting is black screens and infinite loading. I'm not sure but when I have this installed on my browser, twitch streams just don't load at all. Pretty sure an update broke something because numerous streams just flat out are not loading.
  • (2024-04-22) Khari Webber: Just black screens and constant commercial breaks. Update - Still does not work. I still get black screens but it does not block anything now. Every time I open a stream, I get an ad.
  • (2024-04-11) Iwazhere: Does not work. Streams buffer endlessly. Twitch made it impossible to block ads using proxies like this
  • (2024-04-11) Derek Bohman: does what it says, works well even with public proxies
  • (2024-04-09) Mike Freytag: Amazing extension, people who rate 1 stars are technologically illiterate and don't know how to use the extension. To dumb it down, the extension just makes your ad requests send through a proxy in an ad-free country, therefore, showing no ads. I suggest supporting the owner for $1 USD / Month and get access to all paid proxies, This is also great if you live in the Oceanic region as they have Singapore as a proxy. I have had issues with the chromium proxy, but 80% of the time it works flawlessly, it could be due to the proxy being down, that isn't the extensions fault, they don't host the proxies, it is the proxy hosting services fault, so if you don't want to fork out $1 USD / Month, and then get mad that you are having issues then just keep enjoying the 8/30 second ads :)
  • (2024-04-09) Suhem Hashmi: Randomly started breaking my Twitch and made it not load any streams/throw up errors. I investigated for a bit, and came across some advice to remove any add-ons that interact with twitch 1-by-1 and see if anything sticks. The second I removed it videos started to load again. I tried re-adding it afterwards and now it's not breaking videos anymore, so was probably some kinda one-time bug. Worth noting if you end up having the same issues though.
  • (2024-04-09) Charlex Alexandre: breaks twitch can't load anything with this on
  • (2024-04-02) Mohammed Olian: rarely works and it is buffering all the time. ads play when extention is on most of the time.
  • (2024-03-30) Adam Leatherman: I'm convinced all these bad reviews just don't know how the app works or haven't read the wiki. App blocks ads when the proxy server is up (99% of the time). The occasional purple ad is better than non-stop non-proxied ads.
  • (2024-03-27) Tgod1991: Unlimited buffering, does not work at all
  • (2024-03-25) crystal christy: not working, unlimited buffering
  • (2024-03-19) Cheryl Anne: This does NOT WORK ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am getting ADS &/or blank screen for a very long period of time. CONSTANT BUFFERING
  • (2024-02-19) Daniel Vegh: Does what it says
  • (2024-01-28) Derek: Works well on firefox but not chrome
