Three Ways to Open the Extension Sidebar:
1. Click the Extension icon. You need to "Pin" the extension to the browser toolbar.
2. Use shortcut keys. Please set it at "chrome://extensions/shortcuts" by yourself, the default is Ctrl+Shift+V .
3. Click the browser sidebar icon and switch to this extension.
Set the position of the sidebar: left or right:
Browser Settings → Appearance → Side panel

- (2023-08-08) Aaron Ledesma: Finally vertical tabs arrived in Chrome. I am looking for vertical tabs for very long time but couldn't find any working vertical tabs for Chrome. I used tabWindow but it opened vertical tabs in separate side window. Embedded vertical tabs in the current window make me stick to this extension.

- (2023-07-18) Bob Armour: tabVertikal tab manager is a very good and beautiful extension, design wise and functionality and i love it. TabCounter and tabgrouping support make this extension more superior than all other vertical tabs extension. But one feature i don't like: multi-window. I want just show tabs from current window. How can i disable multi-window? Can you add settings for show tabs from current window only?
- (2023-07-13) mukesh karak: It's pretty good, optimal and has good functions. Tried a bunch of vertikal tab managers, but only this work. I would like to suggest some features though. 1. option to config keyboard shortcut to sort tabs, close duplicates 2. Auto suspend tabs after x amount of inactivity 3. Option to re-organize saved nested widows (drag and drop feature) 4. Pin tab support
- (2023-07-10) Josh Wand: Unpolished, but true vertical tabs in chrome sidebar, not in another window! Great job, keep it up!
- (2023-06-20) Reese Wilson: Very nice to finally have a vertical tabs extension that displays groups. I'm finding a few bugs that make it unusable, but hopefully these are fixed soon. The most annoying is scrolling issues, when I scroll to the bottom, it bounces back up immediately, and when I collapse a tab group, it also bounces back up.
- (2023-06-10) André Dock: As of now, it is one of the few vertical tabs for Chrome that actually work, however with a few bugs. Hiding a tab group will hide all next tabs, not just from the group. Shifting tabs might make some of them disappear. UI needs some tidyness. Also, couldn't figure out how to place it on the left side. But it works alright.
