This is a validation tool for the Parse.ly Content Analytics platform. Use this Chrome Extension to confirm your integration with Parse.ly is where your team expects it to be!
First, visit the URL you wish to test, and launch the extension. From there you can "validate" the URL to see what the current status is of your webpage, from a Parse.ly -integration perspective. The validation process will determine whether or not the Parse.ly tracker is currently on your page, or if there are any issues. The same goes for metadata, as the validator will confirm whether there's Parse.ly-expected metadata on the page, and if so, what the metadata is.
The validator will also render a small preview of the URLs metadata (if it exists) and supply the thumbnail image, title, tags, section, and a small excerpt of the content.
To use the extension again after initial use, simply re-launch!

- (2023-06-16) Metroland Media: Whoot! Finally the promised replacement for the web based validator. We once again have the validator back in our arsenal to help validate new implementations. The only thing that would make this better is maintaining the values after running the request so that you can compare the results to your implementation without needing to re-run it multiple times. Also, maybe a future plugin could integrate into the Developer Tools panel as it's own tab? Then we could control where to show the info, based on Developer Tools (bottom, right, left, pop-out, etc); this might also help with maintaining the information, as it's not a separate pop-up? Overall, happy to have the tool back, and with a few tweaks I think this can be a great tool
