The Hourly Speech Notifier is a handy Chrome extension that keeps you informed about the current time at every hour. This extension utilizes text-to-speech functionality to audibly announce the time, allowing you to stay aware of the hour even when you're not actively looking at the clock.
Once installed, the Hourly Speech Notifier automatically runs in the background. At every complete hour, from 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the extension will announce the time as "X:00 AM." Similarly, from 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM (next day), it will announce the time as "X:00 PM." The speech notifications are provided in a clear and audible manner, ensuring you don't miss important time updates.
To control the Hourly Speech Notifier, two buttons are available: "Start" and "Stop." Clicking the "Start" button activates the speech notifications, initializing the time announcements immediately and then repeating every minute. This continuous loop ensures you receive timely updates throughout the day. On the other hand, clicking the "Stop" button halts the speech notifications, providing you with control over when you want to receive time announcements.
Please note that for the Hourly Speech Notifier to function correctly, your browser must support text-to-speech capabilities. In case your browser lacks this feature, an error message will be displayed.
