  • (2025-05-05) Tomas Marsianin: If post contains more than one image this extension not works properly, opening images as preview.redd.it instead of i.redd.it. Update: for some reason it became even worse, now almost always it opens preview instead of orig and you need to manually correct url to open proper sized image.
  • (2025-02-26) Ainz Ooal Gown: no longer works due to manifest v 3
  • (2025-01-17) Thomas Baker: Worked. Easy.
  • (2024-11-08) Tadeusz Pyś (quetzalcoatl): Works like a charm. Embedded gallery is still functional, left/right/click navigate and view the images as normal, within the post, with [X] to close the gallery. But right-click + open-image-in-new-tab finally actually opens the image without redirecting to reddit.com/media wrapper page. Perfect!

  • (2024-06-12) Muse eek: is this extension related in any way with that PoS "MonsterMannen" the dev from the "reddit load images directly" that sold the extension to a malware company that was stealing users personal info? Because i can se him here giving you a 5 stars review and that is suspicious. Ill change to 5 stars if i get an answer. Edit: thanks for the answer and congrats for this great extension.
  • (2024-06-10) Trọng-Hiếu Nguyễn (tronghieu906): Straight to the point, no bs. God bless this dev!
  • (2024-06-06) Web Luke (WebLuke): I looked at the source of this extension on GitHub (TReKiE/RedditImagesNative), and it's a very simple set of rules. It would be good if the dev linked to this store page to help show the chain of trust. Now, images are not broken the few times I use reddit. I was wondering what happened to the "other" extension, and I'm glad there is a good replacement.
  • (2024-06-02) Ezorde: Works just as intended, thank you!

  • (2024-05-24) Aasmit Mishra: works like a charm my request to dev is that please do not add the obnoxious button from the other addon that does the same thing
  • (2024-05-24) Aasmit Mishra: works like a charm my request to dev is that please do not add the obnoxious button from the other addon that does the same thing
  • (2024-05-24) Peter Fors: Does what it says, without any button injection on other sites. Thank you so much for this extension!
  • (2024-05-24) Raymond Ting: Does what it says, without any funny business. Thank you.
  • (2024-05-24) Justin Tew: After the "other" extension put an obnoxious orange button on my Google results, I removed it and tried this one. Seems to work well so far.
  • (2024-05-23) Jake Stinger: Using this one after the other extension became malicious spyware. Works as advertised. Get this one!
  • (2024-05-23) Anonymous A.: Moved to this extension after another one with similar functionality became bloatware. This one does a great job. 5/5.
  • (2024-05-23) Vik .Y: Perfect! Thank you very much.
  • (2024-05-23) Aayush Tyagi: Is this FOSS?
  • (2024-05-23) Tyler Fowle: Be prepared for a flood of reviews after another, more popular extension decided to sell out and push a very shady feature that cannot be opted out. This one does exactly what is needed, no frills.
  • (2024-05-23) Robloxian Gaming: As said by Eric Duca, "Does what it says on the tin."
  • (2024-05-22) Eric Duca: Does what it says on the tin
  • (2024-05-22) Bree Taylor: To those asking, the "block content on any page" permission is necessary to remove the page elements that comprise the Reddit preview frame, subtitle, and "View Post" button, but the inclusion of "on any page" in the permission is a bit misleading as the extension can actually only run on pages with these domains: *://external-preview.redd.it/* *://i.redd.it/* *://preview.redd.it/* As this app is restricted to reddit domains ONLY, this seems to be a safer alternative to the app that everyone is (rightfully) migrating away from. Always pay attention when your browser warns you that an extension requires new permissions!
  • (2024-05-22) Tem: Thanks for providing a quick alternative! I think that the "block content on any page" is used to check network requests to determine when to act on an image?
  • (2024-05-22) john doe: Can anyone tell me what does "block content on any page" do? why is it needed when it wasn't needed with the other app that turned shady?
  • (2024-05-22) Michael: Does what it claims. No extra bs. Thank you!
  • (2024-05-22) Ahmet Burak Baraklı: thank you
  • (2024-05-22) Strato Junon: Works as advertised.
  • (2024-05-20) Anton Pustovoyt: Seems to work as advertised.
  • (2024-05-19) Andreas: Works flawlessly, thanks!
  • (2024-05-19) C W: Cannot confirm the prior user's issue, extension continues to work across sessions. Migrated here as the Reddit Load Images Directly extension seems to have been hijacked/gone rogue earlier today, and this is a nice replacement.
  • (2024-01-15) Molly Whuppie: Has to be turned off and back on again, every time you open a new browser session.
