The Twitch™ Adblocker Plus extension is an adblocker for Twitch.tv. This extension is helpful for blocking commercials. This extension blocks ads without switching to lower quality.
How to use the Twitch™ adblock extension:
1. Install the extension
2. Pin it in the toolbar
3. Click the extension icon and enable the adblocker with the toggle button.
4. Then, play any video on twitch.tv

Note: This extension does not collect/share any of your personal information and it is based on the open-source code.
The extension requires such permissions as:
- "Access to browser tabs" to get details about the website you visit (website url, tab id, parent tab id). It helps us to block ad requests.

- (2023-11-21) Vandil The Rogue: Works as expected; I don't have any complaints. Pop-up's slightly annoying, so if I get tired of it, I'll just switch to using another option. Have to question the judgment of trying to annoy people who aren't willing to pay for Twitch Turbo into paying for an AdBlock extension. Edit 11.21: Pop-up's gone and as soon as they give a one-time donation option, I'll be sure to contribute.
- (2023-11-21) FLX: Hey if I wanted your stupid popup everytime why would I install an ad-blocker ? If I was ready to pay why would I pay you instead of twitch directly ? It doesnt even work well currently, the video is blocked but not the sound.

- (2023-11-15) Brigid Elbert: Maybe loses audio or quality here and there and skips/stumbles on occasion...but I will take it over ads. Devs, you're the best. It just kicked in as I hopped on treasure island channels for Animal Crossing and now I don't have to stop my island hop and get frustrated over 3 minute ad break waits. Nothing worse than being interrupted by obnoxious advertisers cramming products down my throat. Ur doing the lord's work, even (especially) if Google hates you for it. Edit Nov 14th 2023: I'm pretty sussed out by the donation begging and someone in the comments even saying it installed a cryptominer on their browser. I checked my CPUs and nothing seemed weird but still a little icked about the stripe MONTHLY donation that you guys are asking for. one time? maybe. monthly, with no choice to not do a one-time?! nope. you just went from 5 stars to 1 star.

Even for the channels I am subscribed to, twitch feeds me ads and then you have the streamers that play 9 ads in a row every time they can. I'm also a Prime customer so go figure Amazon's logic - it's kind of like the government taking 30% of each paycheck and then penalizing you every year on top of that for more money. Suck it Amazon.
