  • (2025-07-16) Byueul: You know what, I'm done waiting for you to not fix your stupid extension. I'm through with you. I don't know why you're not going back in to fix your useless "adblock" extension, but I'm done with you now. And NOBODY likes the way you ever so rudely reply to those pointing out you "begging for donations" with snarkily suggesting to uninstall and use another non-working extention "if we can't afford less than a buck." Disgustingly shameless of you to say. Do better.

  • (2025-06-10) trueno2k (trueno2k): Extension popup message is more annoying than the ads themselves!!! Plus doesn't even work anyways!!! Don't support!!!

  • (2025-05-04) Aleksandr Novikov: This is malware that automatically opens other websites with advertisements.
  • (2025-04-17) Darius: Installed this, and immediately got a 3 minute add on twitch. The pop up message is also insanely annoying.
  • (2025-04-05) Dave: VERY INVASIVE, WILL POP UP A MESSAGE TO DONATE EVERY TIME YOU OPEN TWITCH. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.
  • (2025-04-04) x x: When browsing the web it will open up pop-up affiliate links like a redirect virus, do not trust it!
  • (2025-03-21) Dixie Normus: You get a free pop-up for installing this useless extension

  • (2025-02-26) YodatheHobbit: No longer works.
  • (2025-02-25) Byueul: Twitch broke adblockers once again and I keep getting thrown 3 minute ads in the middle of watching a stream. Can you perhaps get around to fixing the adblocker back up?
  • (2025-02-24) LunaRR: While it is one of the only ttv ad blockers that (SOMETIMES) works, the inconsistency makes it a genuine headache. For days, itll work, then in the next span of however many days, it will not block a thing. As others are accurately pointing out, this extension opens affiliate links whenever you open other commerce websites. The developer seems quick to defend its in the TOS (scroll down a bit), but does not want to make it clear to the people using this extension which is an immediate red flag, no matter how and/or where it is stated. While I can't speak for how those affiliate pages interact with your browser, the lack of transparency should worry anyone. Again, it sometimes works, which is why I give it 2 stars and not a flat-out 1, but its inconsistent and the whole affiliate thing is unnecessary.
  • (2025-02-22) Dasengan: As of 2/21/2025 This does not work. It is so random and inconsistent when it decides to blocks ads. Also it does open a second tab whenever you try to get on amazon for affiliate purchase. The dev posted that you can disable this by clicking eco mode off in the setting but that is also lie since that option has been removed or not available at all. 2 stars just because it nice when it works.
  • (2025-02-21) A Presse: This is the only adblocker that has worked consistently for over a year. As mentioned in other reviews, I haven't had any issues with intrusive ads opening or cookies being manipulated.
  • (2025-02-21) tap836: Doesn't actually block ads on Twitch.
  • (2025-02-13) Ben Doverson: DO NOT INSTALL THIS, I REPEAT, DO NOT! As many of the others have mentioned, this "adblocker" opens seemingly suspicious links that redirects you to a coupon website whenever you open up ecommerce website (think target, amazon). This is so they can get an affiliate commission off you whenever you make a purchase. They call this a feature and label it "eco mode" when in reality, this is just malware with extra steps. You have been warned!
  • (2025-02-08) Josh Hunt: Does not work at all. Scam
  • (2025-01-31) jaime mhm: opens unwanted ads to websites that my antivirus deems unsafe. do not install.
  • (2025-01-29) Chris Heilman: Glad to see other's have picked up on this Extension's scamming. Just like the Honey extension, its opening tabs and placing a partner code in your browser cookies whenever you visit shopping sites (Target, Amazon, Walmart, etc.) and throws their partner code in your cookies. This is not disclosed in any ToS or Privacy statement that they're SCAMMING money away from other creators, if you had clicked on another affiliate link. Reporting this to the web store.
  • (2025-01-26) Spocckce Delton: Didn't block any ads at all. L scam!
  • (2025-01-25) Tyler Robinson: did nothing
  • (2025-01-22) Froy Guillen: No explanation as to what "Eco-friendly mode added" means and opens up tabs in other sites.
  • (2025-01-19) Heather Brown: This extension opens up ad pages now that my antivirus blocks as malware. This extension is a SCAM.
  • (2025-01-13) Ryan Bisaro: virus, scam, malware, ad
  • (2025-01-11) Jonas Garbuio: Try to make money off of you by opening ads tab .... Ad blocker open ads tab now, gfy
  • (2025-01-09) setalokaa: Malware, dont install.
  • (2025-01-08) 4NaB: Whenver you visit online shops like Amzon it opens an extra tab on the side to apply coupons and make money off of whatever you buy, which is also annoying because the tab is opens is identical to the one you were using and if you started using it it just closes automatically, not mentioning this extension trying to do anything outside of twitch for their own gain is extremely scammy
  • (2025-01-02) Arunav: Best adblock for Twitch. I don't know why people are complaining when they can easily disable the eco-friendly mode from the settings, and it has already been removed in the new version. Some people don't want to donate and just want everything for free.
  • (2025-01-01) algol: i've been trying to locate the source of the extra tabs that keep popping up when i visit amazon or reverb or aliexpress. xocoupon pops up and drives me nuts. Sometimes i use that tab by accident then it automatically closes while im browsing. BEYOND FRUSTRATING.
  • (2024-12-31) Brandon Ehrman: I'm removing this and probably not using it anymore because of the XoCoupons that keep popping up. It's annoying, distracting, and frankly not worth the usage. I understand the 'EcoMode' setting claims to turn them off when disabled, but I'm fairly certain they continue anyway. (not to mention that the switch to enable/disable EcoMode doesn't tell you WHICH setting will disable it. It's on by default but does turning that off re-enable it, or disable it entirely?? Frustrating design). Ultimately not giving a 1-Star review because it did work quite well at one point, but now I'm happy to discard it since it's changed without warning users about popups/having it disabled by default. Don't make something that intrudes on a user's space without warning, thanks.
  • (2024-12-30) Liam Scott: Technically still does what it says on the tin, (albeit with the streams freezing every now and then) but this "Eco Mode" is 100% malware. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then chances are that's exactly what it is regardless of intent. The developer claims that users are informed about this from the outset and that no background tabs are ever opened, however as of the time of writing, both of these can be quite easily proven as an outright lie. There is nothing written on the Chrome Web Store regarding this "feature" beyond a vague mention in the changelog, nor is there anything shown to the user upon installation. Even if that was the case, nothing has ever been told to users, (such as myself) who have had the plugin prior to this being added. It was simply inflicted upon us via updates without our consent. Uninstall with predjudice and report abuse. That is my recommendation. If you want a safe alternative, look up TwitchAdSolutions. My personal recommendation would be the uBlock Origin scripts, as I've used that extension for many years now, and it continues to be the king of ad blocking.
  • (2024-12-23) Hitstothebrain: This extension is adding a intrusive XOCoupons virus tab popping up to take commission from your shopping report to chrome
  • (2024-12-22) Miss Lissa Day: Does not work.
  • (2024-12-21) Rob Pronk: Acts just like malware, disable this eco-mode feature and when restarting the brower it's turned on again, massively annoying both that and that it opens an extra page every time you browse to somewhere!
  • (2024-12-19) Matthew F: Malware - DO NOT USE. Response to Developer - "Ecomode" is not a user feature. It's a way for YOU to collect money. Do not call it a "Feature". "feature designed to support our sustainability efforts and is not malware" LOL. How stupid do you think we are? Your extension has been bugging me for weeks and I had no idea it was your extension. I ran virus scans, Malwarebytes, and had to check chrome logs to finally find out what it was this extension causing the issues. Just because its "simple" to disable the ads does not mean that its EASY. If you have no idea which extension is causing the ads or how to turn it off - ITS NOT SIMPLE. Users should be asked to opt in to this "feature" (receive ads) or made aware that this extension is causing the ads. If your product cannot survive without forced ads then maybe you should add more REAL features that people would want to pay for. Not forcibly and secretively shove ads in our face in order to stay open. Uninstalled.
  • (2024-12-17) Aakash Sharma: Fantastic extension! It works seamlessly, and I’ve had no problems at all. Great job, Dev!
  • (2024-12-16) Tom Wuillaume: Collecting and selling user data on an opt-out basis is malware, regardless of what the developer says. Even if there is a way to disable it, it's despicable behavior.
  • (2024-12-14) Green Black: Pop ups
  • (2024-12-13) arianwen27: Malware/adware opens background tabs to random websites without consent or notification
  • (2024-12-12) Dilip Kumar: Works good, no issues till now!
  • (2024-12-12) Eddie Dexter: When I added this to Chrome, twitch streams simply wouldn't load. As soon as I removed it, streams loaded fine.
  • (2024-12-10) Muhammad Youssef: no option to disable the malware thingy
  • (2024-12-06) G P: WARNING: Opens new tabs and send you to random links. Malware or malware like behavior.
  • (2024-12-02) James Rolan: One of the working Twitch ad blockers. I don't understand why people complain about the eco-friendly mode, which they can easily disable from the extension settings. They don't want to pay or support the developer; they just want everything for free.
  • (2024-11-30) DLA: Literal, actual, adware/malware that constantly tries to open new tabs with redirects to malicious websites that are, thankfully, always blocked by uBlock Origin. Every few times you click some link or refresh a page that it shouldn't even have access to it will attempt to redirect in a new tab. Yep, that means you can refresh Netflix and it will redirect. Click a link in Wikipedia and it will redirect. uBlock shows exactly what they are doing and the malicious adware redirect sites they are using so it's not really up for debate. They can say that it is just a feature that helps support them but that is the equivalent of a ransomware creator saying that them locking your PC until you pay them is just supporting their development efforts. Not only should you avoid at all costs, but Chrome should remove this from the store immediately.
  • (2024-11-30) Sei Ryuu: Actual malware uninstall this, keeps opening amazon by itself and trying to set up affiliate sales without my input or agreement.
  • (2024-11-30) Brown: turned into malware, it will redirect you to malware websites
