• (2023-12-03) zoqin le vré: I liked volume master a lot, I wanted to give this a try but saddly not my taste. You can add exception but you can't manage exception (or I didn't find the settings) so if a website use child with different structure domaine name you need to specifies everytime the dark mode should go off. Particulary github raw code is the example I had most of the time. It lack customization of the exception and if auto should mean always off or on. Because I tryed to toggle off the extension but it would never save and stay toggle on in auto anyway. My only solution to not lose time is to uninstalle it. Thanks anyway for the solution you provid to the community, im sure in this state lot of people are happy and that it could improve so it will match my expactation in the futur

• (2023-11-22) Tony Snark: Room for improvement. Biggest issue is that the global switch just doesn't seem to work. I cannot turn it off. I turn it off, it shows it slide over, but it's always back to the on position when I reopen the extension.
• (2023-11-22) Mateja Brkic: I haven't used many dark mode readers before and after i got NightEye which is the best darkmode extension but after seeing the examples i got the impression it's better than most becaue i believe most are just color inverters. If that's not the case for the average darkmode extension then this is just average as well. What i'd like to see is better predictability for when to change colors. Something very obvious was that red is always inverted and results in a pink that doesn't go with the pure black that this extension applies. I think that on some navigation bars you don't need to invert the colors from white to black but that is more subjective becasuse i liked both font colors. This should have a button to apply websites dark mode functionality if it has one like NightEye has. For this extension to be truly great is if it had the funcionality to not just invert the colors of elements on the webapge.

Applies in better to most of the websites that don't support dark mode yet. but to the developer, I've some feedback, like some websites it's not perfect like Amazon, Olx, Gmail etc... It's like inverted but not fully. Like an xray it's colours. Please kindly consider in future updates.
• (2023-11-22) Wucci: I like it, but there are areas that could be enhanced, particularly when a website already is in dark mode. When this extension is enabled, the text, colors, and other stuff turns black. However, it is generally useful for common purposes. A competing extension called "Dark Reader" allows users to select specific sites for dark mode, offering a more customizable experience. That is a thing that should be implemented i think.
• (2023-10-30) SANDY: Like it, but there is some part need to improve, especially when the website is already in dark mode e.g facebook, when this extension activated, the text color become black, cannot see anything, on bilibili, the video is not excluded, the white section on video become black, but overall is useful for general use
• (2023-10-26) X: Probably the best dark mode extension in the market. But it comes with its problems. Like others pointed out, it can't detect if the website is already dark so sometimes it flips the switch and makes it look white. Also, settings aren't saving in some websites. It keeps applying dark mode on websites that I previously set to "off".
• (2023-10-23) Chiba Ross: App has potential but it's definitely NOT there yet. When dark mode is on some things remain in color (no I'm not talking about links). On any website that has panels of color the extension changes it to a lighter version of that color. For example, one website had a dark purple panel off to the side when the extension is off but when it is turned on it's a bright fuchsia. The extension cannot differentiate between an already dark page as it will flip it to a white-ish color. After a few days of using the extension, it stopped responding to hover or clicks rendering the it useless. I emailed support about this but no response. Finally, it takes 3-5 seconds for the extension to kick in.

I no longer have to strain my eyes or deal with white backgrounds. It adds dark mode on almost on all apps.allowing me to enjoy a consistent and comfortable browsing experience. One of the things I appreciate the most about Dark Mode Everywhere is it's simplicity. It is very easy to install and use, requiring no technical knowledge whatsoever.It truly lives up to it's promise.
