- April 2025 - This is the ONLY live caption system that works for YouTube on Edge so you can use it when the usual CC option doesn't work sometimes. The Chrome store version doesn't work on edge then I tried this one from the Microsoft add on store it works perfectly on all YouTube videos. BUT, not free - I used it for about 15 minutes and then it stopped working and asked me to pay for a subscription. The live captioning system that Edge supposedly has, you will see mentioned on various Microsoft question threads DOES NOT EXIST anymore that people refer to indeed if there ever was one. There is no caption option in accessibility and no hearing option in accessibility which are the two areas people say it is, and I have tried all other YouTube extensions that might give live captions that work on YouTube - none any use, but if you want to pay then this will work perfectly for you.

- Es fabulosa para mí que quedé sordo desde hac 4 años. Había instalado una de subtítulos automáticos que nunca sirvió y encontré esta y bueno, esta si me da los subtítulos y traducción. PERO, el GRAN PERO, es que solo se limita a 4 sitios y en YouTube no es necesario, pues ahí hay subtítulos automáticos, pero por ejemplo en Rumble o en Odysee, ahí sí que sería maravilloso que funcionara su extensión. Realmente para eso la quería, en YouTube no la necesito. Hay poco interés genuino en ayudar a los sordos a poder ser parte completa del mundo, nos tenemos que conformar con migajas. Ojalá que abrieran mas horizontes, Rumble y Odysee deberían ser parte de esta excelente extensión. Me gusta, pero me sirve de muy poco. Gracias.
