⏭️ Control your YouTube Shorts just like a normal YouTube video! Features include progress bar, seeking, playback speed, auto skip and more. You can also customize the keybinds to your liking!
⚠️ Note: This is a reupload of the original extension which is taken down due to trademark issue. Users are advised to check the GitHub website below from time to time for updates if the original extension is reinstated.
List of Features:
- Progress bar at the bottom with time and duration
- Seeking 5 seconds backward and forward with arrow keys
- Auto skip short when current one ends
- Auto skip short with likes below custom threshold (e.g. 500 likes)
- Auto open comment section on each short
- Decrease and increase playback speed with keys U and O
- Revert to normal speed with I or by clicking the speed button
- Control volume with the volume slider or with - and =, mute audio with M
- Mini timestamp and speed above the like button (can be scrolled on!)
- Navigate to previous or next short without animation with W and S
- Go to the next frame or previous frame with . and , while paused
- Customizable keybinds

- october 30th 2024, the thing no longer work, i have 2 youtube plugin for control video speed, now i just enable Beta function of "youtube playback speed control" which is enable other non standard YT videos to control speed. it works.... so i am gonna remove this plugin.... leave 5 stars here because it serve me well

- very good, but it's missing a feature: we can't switch audio track on shorts. i don't know why youtube did that, and i hate them for it, but i have to find an alternative. and there isn't for now

- Great extension, but unfortunately as of today (July 27th) I can no longer click or drag the progress bar to move back or forward in the video. I'm guessing that YouTube must have made some minor changes to how the progress bar works in Shorts. Skipping back and forth using left and right arrow keys on keyboard still works.

- I love it, and it works great on standard google chrome. But it works for a while and no longer working after 2 or 3 days on chrome beta, chrome dev version. No longer having views count, no longer able to speed-up/backing-up using right and left arrow respectively, no longer having time(videos time length), no longer able to see the 0.5x, 1x, 2x, options. remember, it's working great on standard chrome, and not working on chrome dev and chrome beta after 2-3 days.

- extension no longer works, like it works, if you refresh the page, but the volume slider, and skip back and forth with arrow keys dont work, im holding the keys, and tapping them, volume wont go up or down and i cant scrub back and forth with the keys i have to do it manually with the mouse. EDIT: idk if the shorts are being broken from this extension or something else, but whenever i try to use arrow keys to go to the next short, it gets stuck, and then next short plays audio, but the picture is stuck on the previous short i was watching, and this has been happening more and more frequently to the point it happens to about 1 in 4-5 videos. also, arrow keys sometimes dont even work, heck even the manual arrows added by youtube on the side dont work. its like the extension refuses to accept the arrow keys and breaks the manual buttons youtube already provides.

- Gave you a 5 star cause this was helpful until YT updated. All I wanted was the progress bar just to scroll back a bit when I miss something. Apparently, YouTube now has that. It seem your extension is having a little conflict with YT. Especially with the volume cause now there's 2 volume bars and mute. Also the progress bars sometime disappears all together. The one thing I will miss is to able to use the arrows to repeat back or jump forward.

- Doesn't work as expected for the reason it is installed. While seeking the video it gets back to the previous video and seeks that instead. Need the fix for this else of no use at all. PS: Will update the review when fixed

- HI there is a bug with RTL on the progrres bar. The bar moving from right to left but for skiping forward I need to click in the other side

- Amazing extension, fixes all of the problems with Youtube's lazy design. Only thing would be to make the volume slider look a bit nicer but functionality wise it's perfect.
