Navigate to any HTML5 video page, and you'll find a speed indicator in the top left corner of the video player. Hover over it to access acceleration, slowdown, and rewind controls. Alternatively, use keyboard shortcuts for efficiency:
S - Decrease playback speed.
D - Increase playback speed.
R - Reset playback speed.
Z - Rewind video by 10 seconds.
X - Advance video by 10 seconds.
V - Show/hide controller.

- Works very well for intended purpose, easy speed up and slow down of video with hotkeys and extremely customizable in terms of those hotkeys and their effects (magnitude of change, toggle preset speeds, skip forward back, etc.) There is a bug I noticed that causes some websites to periodically autoscroll or jump down a line or two. Not sure why this happens but it can be distracting or disruptive when it occurs.

- This will be my first Microsoft Edge Add-on review. I felt I needed to come here and praise this add-on specifically. It's got customizable hotkeys, ALWAYS functions correctly, and has worked on just about everything I've needed it to. When it hasn't, the extension offers the option to white/blacklist specific URLs where you don't want your preferred speed override to kick in. Minimal, free, and perfect. Thank you so much for giving this to us.

- I've been using this for over a month now. It works pretty well and speeds up videos just like it's supposed to do. It has simple keyboard shortcuts that you can adjust to your liking in the settings. My only issues that I've really noticed are sometimes the speed will reset when the video has to reload or when you go to the next video (not sure if intentional), so you have to manually fix it yourself, also I've noticed that if the video is sped up to a certain point, it might distort or mess with the audio in some way. Sometimes it's not bad, and it's just making the audio sound quieter. With worse ones, it just makes the audio a complete distorted mess that's hard to understand or hear clearly.

- This is by far the best one. You can see what speed your playing at, it does all videos, you can change it by .1 and even smaller if you want and you can change the hot keys. What more can you ask for!

- I use this in Edge, FireFox, and Opera. Works great for speeding through YouTube ads. I watch movies and shows in Peacock and Amazon Prime on 1.2-1.4 speed and save time. Keyboard shortcuts work great. I used D to speed up, R to return to the previous speed then use R to toggle through ads.

- If you copy extensions from chrome, then you need to search for this one for Video speed controller. This extension is different on chrome but working is same.

- This is BEST on extension on CHROME. - Increase speed using SHIFT + > and with D - Decrease speed using SHIFT + < and with S actually, I used many videos controller, but this one is best I can increase or decrease speed with keyboard. This is my First review on any anything because it helped me a lot. Thanks to Developers.

- By far the best video speed controller I've tried. Works perfect on youtube. Other speed controllers all require you to quit full screen and click the icon to adjust speed. This one is really convenient as it allows you to directly adjust the speed inside the video without exiting full screen mode. Also have shortcuts.
