A very simple and straightforward extension to bulk download images from your list.
Simply install the chrome extension.
Click the chrome extensions icon, Bulk Image Downloader from List extension will be present.
Click to pin in for easier access. Clicking the extensions icon to begin downloading images. If you want the task scheduling feature, use the options page!
For non-scheduling, click the download icon of the extension to add a list of the images you would like to bulk download. Paste the urls in the url box. The extension will display the url count.
Right below that is the File Type Filter. If you have many different file formats but you would like to download a specific file type e.g PNG, simply select PNG. If however you want to download all images types regardless of the file types then select the All Formats option.
Prefix/Suffix. If you would like to rename your images, you can add a suffix or a suffix to the downloaded images.
Save in Folder. If you want to stay organised, the extension allows you to specify a folder name where the images will be saved.
You can decide not to specify any of these values i.e the prefix, suffix, file types and folder name. In this case, the extension will download all images. It will not assign any prefix/suffix and the images will download into the default folder - the downloads folder because no folder name was specified.
Handling duplicates. The extension gives you the count of the total urls. You can use that to track if there were any duplicate urls by clicking on the Strip Duplicates button. This will remove any duplicate urls from the list.
Sometimes you can have duplicate file names but actually different images. In this scenario, you do not have to use the Strip Duplicates button. Instead, just download the images, the duplicate images will be renamed for example portrait (1).png.
Scheduling Downloads. Now you can create tasks which execute at your specified dates and time. You can create as many tasks as you want. The purpose of the scheduling is to allow you to focus on other stuff while the images download in the background.
Also, it helps you avoid overwhelming your computer and browser from too many downloads at ago. With the scheduling feature, you can specify e.g 500 images to download in the next 2 minutes, another 500 in the next 4 minutes and so on.
Just remember to keep the options page open. If you closed it by mistake and the scheduled time passed, the extension will retrigger the missed downloads!
