This extension makes it really easy to embed any image into a BBcode-compatible forum reply or blog post.
Embedding images from photo hosting sites (or elsewhere) into a forum reply or blog post can be an inconvenient process. This extension allows you to right-click on any* image, choose "Copy image as [IMG]", and a BBcode-compatible [IMG] tag will be automatically copied to your clipboard. Simply paste that into the reply window on most forums and the image will be embedded into your reply. (Some sites have copy-protection code in place that will prevent this extension from working. This extension is not designed to circumvent any such measures.) Your privacy is important, so this extension doesn't use any tracking whatsoever. It can't see anything in your browser except images that you copy as [IMG] tags. No statistics or image data is sent back to any central server. However, I would really appreciate it if you'd leave a comment or review if this extension has helped you out.
- (2017-11-30) Elie Fabs: I can't believe this is free! THANK YOU!
- (2015-09-19) Ivan: Extension does exactly what it needs to. Perfect and easy to use.
- (2019-12-06, v:3.0.2) Ilias Taxidis: Problem...
The option in right-click menu is disappearing. Uninstallation & installation solves the problem temporary (perhaps for a browser's session). The problem is still there in the next use. I think all the "point" of this extension was the right-click option.... Please fix it. (Vivaldi browser)
- (2016-11-25, v:3.0.2) Gretch E Petch: Is it compatible with YouTube?
I just downloaded this extension (Easy Image Embed), and I'm wondering if it's compatible with Google Chrome if I want to paste an image into a comment on YouTube
