Knowing Samsung's capability, this app feels like a misstep that fails to justify its existence. Samsung should reconsider this offering and focus its efforts on more impactful and well-designed technologies.

That won't change. I use chrome. I see this extension. I install it. It wants me to download something from the Microsoft Store!? What an experience.
• (2025-04-17) Antonio Babuli: As of April 2025 Samsung has a market cap of $256.93 Billion USD. This makes Samsung the world's 39th most valuable company by market cap. What a shame. How is possible such a massive company, to have a 1.4 Star extension, publicly visible disaster with clearly Samsung users frustrated. As only a Samsung user will come to download this extension. Most likely people who own a Samsung Phone and a Samsung Tablet (like me). Being aware of offering terrible experience to your customers, and do nothing about it, it is mind blowing for a company of this scale. Even Apple who is KING of "walled gardens" offers the iCloud extension which works fine, so people on windows can sync with their iPhones. I cannot believe Samsung offers this only on Samsung laptops. At least remove it from the chrome web store to not provoke us, and simply pre-install it to Samsung laptops just to avoid this public embarrassment.
• (2025-03-20) Salai Geethan S: I have a Samsung Phone. But I absolutely cannot use their Authenticator or Password Apps, cos if I ever lose the phone, I would have no other way to access them. Their stupid policy restricting these apps to samsung devices only, is just as stupid as Apple. I would rather stick with my Google Authenticator and Google Password Manager than switch to this useless app.

• (2024-12-24) Ryan: Extension makes you download Samsung Pass from the Microsoft Store if you are on a Windows PC. If your "Windows PC" isn't made by Samsung, regardless of whether or not your system meets the requirements for running the app. They will block you from using the Samsung Pass app on your PC. You cant even launch it and you can't use the the Chrome Extension without the app. So Apple of you guys lol.
