How it works
Web to Figma lets you import full webpages using the plugin, or import specific components from a website, using our Chrome Extension. Convert any HTML to design file in Figma.
Import components or webpages using the Chrome Extension:
1. Download the Web to Figma Chrome Extension
2. Go to any page in your Chrome Browser
3. Invoke the extension, and then choose if you want to capture the entire page or a single component
4. Once the extension captures the page, save the page/component to a Collection
5. Go to Figma and run the plugin
6. Go to the Collections tab of the plugin
7. Find your latest capture and click on Add to Figma
Import webpages using the plugin:
1. Install the plugin
2. From within any file, run the plugin by going to Plugins menu and selecting Web to Figma
3. In the Import tab of the plugin, enter the URL of the webpage that you want to import. For example, https://github.com/home
4. Choose the relevant settings
5. Click on Import
Benefits
1. Create a library of design inspirations using Collections
2. Create a moodboard
3. Collaborate with developers by importing their implementation and comparing against the reference design
4. Learn how some of the more complex websites have been structured
5. Quickly explore various design patterns when solving a new task

- (2025-04-27) Shivam Bhalla: It works, but it's impossible to unsubscribe. I had to file a dispute with my bank. I tried visiting my settings in Figma, then community, but it never shows up there.
- (2025-04-13) James Andrews: Does not work, and team won't reply to me when asking to cancel as there is no way to do it. Keep trying to bill me, have blocked them my end. Right to cancel and be forgotten being breached here.

- (2025-01-29) Jaroslav Alekseev: doesn't work
- (2024-12-09) Kakoytachel: Kinda works, but gives you only 1 free import per month, and if you've done anything wrong you need to either pay or wait 30 days
- (2024-11-28) Amir Abbas Mousavi: dosent work
- (2024-10-19) Chad Balkum: This plugin is terrible and falsely advertised ..... DO NOT USE
- (2024-10-16) Maja Pihl: Not what I expected. I can't capture pages that I'm logged in to. I expected it to work in the browser itself and send everything over to Figma. I have to paste the URL in the plugin and while this works okay, it doesn't fulfill my needs. Also didn't expect the paywall
- (2024-09-10) Antoni Owsianko: doesn't work
- (2024-05-22) Shahar Abramovich Katz: The extension is just an advertising. it don't do anything. The plugin to figma isn't great too
- (2024-04-20) Fernando Teixeira: I can't believe the extension is real and works, fantastic! The kind of app I want to pay for!
- (2024-03-21) Arifullah Jan: This is awesome. I used the free version to export my web app jobr.pro which I bootstrapped without any design. Loved it and you need a 5 star. - One thing: For me (a developer) it was not straightforward that I would have to import from collection after running the plugin in figma. (Maybe a export to figma file would've made it simpler)
- (2024-03-05) Dmytro Nushtaiev: Works great!
