The only thing I could think that changed was the extension had updated. Lo and behold, I removed it and Pinterest was like lightning speed. I added it back on and everything moved at crawling speed again. Between the options, I'd almost rather deal with the ads because I can't do much at all since it takes so long now. Please fix!!

• (2025-05-30) I'm AFluffyCupcake: Just downloaded it because I noticed that my previous adblocker had stopped working for pinterest for some reason. I only needed to filter a single word all of these pins have in common and every single one was gone, works perfectly, great job! 30/05/2025: had to edit my review and lower it, saw that the extension has been turned off by google and went to check, it was asking to have access to my internet history, why in the world would it need that? it's not a necessary function for it to work, for no app as a mater of fact.
• (2025-05-30) skiddleywiffers: Works well! It's easy to use the custom word block too if anybody's worried about having trouble with that.
• (2025-05-25) ttt: Used to work (for me, for a few months) in Firefox and Chrome, but now it doesn't work, unfortunately, for some reason (Pinterest must had changed something). Ads show, recommendations show and Pinterest has problems with properly displaying the stuff I want when the add-on is on. :-/
• (2025-05-25) Audrea Gold: Unfortunately - this app is detected by as an ad-blocker by Pinterest, making it impossible to use the site unless you turn it off. If it could be updated to bypass this detection, I'd easily give 5 stars!
• (2025-04-19) Jason Xenarios: For me when the Autoplay videos setting stopped working, just plays them whether its on or off in my settings. When those video ads are playing I couldn't focus on the content, need something to block these and this extension worked.
• (2025-04-17) gabrielle: its literally perfect and works amazing! but every once in awhile, (6-8 weeks) it'll stop working and i'll see ads again. but if you just uninstall and reinstall it starts working again. i assume this isn't a problem with the extension and it's just pinterest detecting an ad-blocker. other than that it's flawless, thank you!
• (2025-04-09) Emerson VanSise: Works perfectly and makes the website much more pleasant, but as of today I received a message on Pinterest saying they detected I was using an ad blocker and to remove it and refresh the page. Unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to use this extension anymore which is unfortunate :(

I've tried deleting and redownloading the extension multiple times but still no works. And same issue in private tab unfortunately

• (2024-12-28) Nissan Juke 2013: I only started using this extension today, but it has saved my ability to use/enjoy Pinterest completely. Pinterest is my favorite platform for finding art inspiration and clothing ideas, but the past year or so the advertising and abundance of garbage videos has made it unusable for me. With this extension, I can finally find what I'm looking for and not have to dig through slop to get to it. If I could offer more than 5 stars for this review I would.

• (2024-09-21) William Keitaro: It works, but i wish it would also remove all shopping suggestions and pins, and leave only user posts, i only use Pinterest for images and pictures, not looking for products or anything else. Shopping posts have suddenly invaded my feed and search results and i don't really want them, especially the ones that has multiple images, the price tag below the pin title and generally looks like i am in Etsy instead, especially when using the Visual Search (i only and ONLY use it to find similar images, not searching for the product) i made sure the algorithm doesn't think i like or want them by clicking on "hide pin" on everyone of them i saw but they are still there. If you can, please try to add an option to also filter them out completely.
