🔧 How To Use:
This extension has three modes:
1️⃣ - Disable Only For Scrolling
Similar to default YouTube. Previews play as normal but only if you purposefully move your mouse to the video. If you just land on a video after scrolling, it will not play.
2️⃣ - Play On Long Click - (Recommended)
Previews don't play on hover, but instead play after a "long click" on the thumbnail. Click and hold down briefly (300ms) and the preview will play.
3️⃣ - Completely Disable
Previews never play.

- Works as advertised! The official YouTube setting to disable inline previews works only on each browser individually. But this extension, synchronized to each of your Chrome installations, will block them always. This is a godsend, as even the inline preview playback will add the video to your watch history, and thus poison your recommended videos even further (if that is even possible in 2024) Thanks!

- actually works, great extension. youtube technically has this function built-in on their site, but it keeps resetting and playing you the previews literally minutes after telling it not to.
