A simple extension that shows a list of all tab groups across all browser windows in a popup. Clicking the group activates the first tab in that group and focuses its browser window if needed.
The purpose of the extension is to allow users to quickly find specific tab group and navigate to it - useful especially for tab hoarders with many groups across many windows.
The extension tries to maximize the number of groups visible
without scrolling (as extension popup window size is limited by the browser) by displaying them in 1 to 3 columns based on the number of groups to show.
In a nutshell:
● Shows a list of all tab groups across all browser windows in a popup.
● On a click navigates to the selected group.
● Only groups are involved, no tabs get in the way. No group management either.
● Extension is for Chromium based browsers that support tab groups.
Remember to pin the extension after installation so its icon is always visible and clickable. You can also set a keyboard shortcut to open the popup in the browser settings (usually Extensions -> Keyboard shortcuts).
Browsers currently list all the groups (without their tabs) only in the "Add tab to group" context menu - not very useful when you just want to jump to the group without adding anything. And the search function often (depends on browser) only checks tabs and not group titles.
There is no group management or messing with individual tabs in this extension, you can find nice ones for that already or have built-in support.

- (2025-03-10) Roberto A: Extremely useful. Just one question: if I uninstall the extension and then reinstall it, will it show all my previous groups? Now I can only see the groups that were OPENED when I installed the extension. The closed (NOT hidden) groups are not listed. So, my idea is to reinstall the extension after opening ALL my groups. Will it work? I'm not talking of "hidden" groups as I read in the comments: I didn't even know that hidden groups existed, and never use them. Thanks

- (2024-10-21) Suraj Kartha: Exactly what I wanted. I tried to see if there was a way to view ALL tab groups at one place within Chrome, sadly there wasn't, so I am happy to have found this extension, please keep up the good work, and thanks for helping us humble folks who are buried under too many tabs to count.. this will definitely improve my productivity, thank you :)

- (2024-07-11) Brite: can't ditect older tab groups that was created before installing the extention.
- (2024-06-08) Terrence “My Money Magick” Brannon: Very useful addition to standard tab groups. PROS: quick and easy to get started with. gives you a birds-eye view of all your tab groups. CONS: cannot save groups by default. Cannot re-order lists of tab groups.
- (2024-05-22) J Anderson: I don't understand the point of this - maybe I'm missing something. I want to move all the group "buttons" off the tab bar and onto a pop up list that can be brought up via shortcut, then the groups you currently need can be expanded, then collapsed. (15+ groups take up a lot of real estate)
- (2024-03-26) Glenn Frye: Simple & functional, thank you!
- (2024-03-02) Thomas Schittli Akros: Thanks a lot for sharing your very useful work! I have just one suggestion: Please order the groups list alphabetically :-)
