Especially for Voice Actors, Audiobook, or Script Writers! This tool is a quick way to find the average time to read a script at a standard pace of 155 words per minute. If you already know the total number of words, just highlight that number and right click. If you don't know the number, but have the script, highlight the text and right click. Then choose Brad's Reading Time Calculator from the menu to find the total number of words and estimated time to read the text aloud!
Please note: In addition to your speaking pace and other obvious factors, things like excessive acronyms or numbers written as numerals instead of written out as words will cause the actual time to be longer than what is estimated by this tool.
