Deze Chrome-extensie stelt je in staat om het volume van YouTube-video's met totale precisie te regelen. In plaats van te vertrouwen op de standaard volumeregeling van YouTube, kun je het volume aanpassen via een numeriek invoerveld waarmee je het volume precies kunt instellen. Bovendien maakt dit hulpmiddel het gemakkelijker om het volume aan te passen voor video's in verschillende tabbladen en past het zich automatisch aan de voorkeuren van de gebruiker aan, waarbij de instellingen zelfs na het sluiten van de browser worden opgeslagen.

Werkelijke volumewaarde toegevoegd en het nummer wordt gewist wanneer je op de knop klikt.

De voluminstellingen worden nu opgeslagen in de lokale opslag van de browser (browsergeheugen), zodat bij het herladen of overschakelen naar een andere video het volume dat je hebt ingesteld behouden blijft.

Enkele kleine problemen opgelost.

Probleem opgelost voor sommige video's die het volume niet behielden bij het wisselen van video of het vernieuwen van de pagina. Nu blijft het volume hetzelfde op elke video.

- (2025-06-05) Grant Thornton: It would be nice if the saved volume was usable in Chrome's Incognito mode. It also conflicts with some other extensions I use on YouTube Music (Music Mode for YouTube, I think) stopping all sound no matter what you set the volume to, but that's not the developer's fault. Otherwise, it's a very clean and elegant extension that does what it says on the tin. Thank you! Edit - I meant that the extension does work in incognito mode (if you allow it in incognito mode via the extension settings), but it forgets the volume and sets it to 100% every time you start a new incognito session, which it doesn't do for normal sessions.

- (2025-04-14) Allen Pingleton: The latest update put the volume control at the RIGHT hand side of the video window, and it now covers up all the YouTube controls. full screen, quality, captions. they are under this extensions controls and are very difficult to use now. This extensions controls used to be at the left of the window just to the right of the video window time display which was perfect. I hope where this extensions controls are now is a bug and not a feature because it makes the YouTube window control very difficult to use as they are almost completely gone under this volume control. Edit: Amazing response from the developer! Thank you! Bug will be fixed! I 100% recommend this extension!

- (2025-04-09) Kyle M: This extension saved my ears, I know most people use this when youtube is too quiet but I had the opposite problem my youtube was WAY too loud compared to other sites so the comfortable range on the volume slider was only a few pixels wide on the low side of the volume bar, with this I was able to set the maximum on the bar to just 4% of the normal volume and now the entire volume bar is usable, and a comfortable volume. No more ever so slightly nudging the volume and accidentally going too far because 96% of the volume slider was all too loud. my ONLY complaint is that it doesn't work on youtube shorts if it worked on shorts also it would be perfect

- (2024-09-27) Илья Бишоп: Nice. Can you make it work with embed vids? For some reason they are always at 100% volume, so annoying.
- (2024-07-08) Ex Uno: As a suggestion, what would be more helpful is if the extension settings were permanent. You have to adjust the volume for every channel you visit. YouTube volume is set too high for every channel; and, each channel's volume isn't consistent with any other channel. So, all YouTube videos start out blaringly loud. If the extension had, let's say a 20% volume reduction as a default, then any YouTube visited would subsequently have this as a starting point.
