- (2025-04-25) Yvonne Frindle: It's very pretty, but its apparent inflexibility makes it unusable. Once installed, _every_ new tab or window you open displays the MDS Focus page and, as far as I can see, there's no way to turn off that behaviour in the settings. With an extension like this, I would open it in a single window (once) and keep it on top on my secondary screen. Meanwhile, I would want my main browser window, which is ultimately a work/research tool, to continue functioning as normal, which includes opening any new tabs/windows with a Google search bar and my curated shortcuts. There are standalone apps that offer similar functionality (timer+task list) and still others that offer genuine focus functionality. This attempt to integrate these features into a browser doesn't really work.
- (2025-03-27) Naman Agrawal: although very cool would be great if u could add our own wallpapers
- (2025-02-14) Atharv Agrawal: The Extension is very useful in terms of organizing tasks rom my Google Calendar, the Focus feature is really a MVP for this Extension. It also gives your Chrome homepage a very good Aesthetic look that just cheers up your mood!!
- (2025-01-02) Temitayo Ipinlaiye: This is a very good extension. I enjoy using it However, If it can integrate with my google calendar tasks and also have auto play of the specific task that is up on my calendar for better tracking, it will be cool
- (2024-12-01) James Savin: really good, but there should be a way to block websites during focus
- (2024-11-21) Reet Kaur Gujral: This really good, but you should add a feature where everyday it gives you a new quote. AMAZING

- (2024-10-25) Sneha Barman: Hey, I added i and has been using it since the last week and I love this extension so far. Only thing I am unable to figure out is how do I head to my Google search bar. Like I used momentum earlier and they had the shortcut key Shift+C which automatically took me to google. (I liked the features provided here and hence changed to Focus) please let me know what I am missing
- (2024-10-03) VLAD: First i thought that it does not work, when i click on the extension icon it brings me to this chrome web store page. To make it work, just press the + icon in chrome browser it will open new tab with design of this extention, so you can use it as much as you like ) Enjoy guys
- (2024-08-07) ricky snodgrass: I really like the look of this and Have ordered multiple things from MDS. however when I add the extension it just links me back the the chrome store page when i click it
- (2024-04-23) Ben Keeble: Like the product, however, I find distracting that the clock font size, when changed, does not change the clock size on the focus, short break and long break optional tabs. When the clock size changes to the maximum and the webpage is placed on a smaller laptop monitor, for instance, my dell xps 13 default screen, the clock text intersects the other options on the screen. Lastly I find the wallpaper selection useful but I would like to use my own desktop background, a picture monstera plants, as an option for the extension as that would allow for mimimum distraction.
- (2024-02-22) Steve M: Really great looking dashboard, liking the proposed functionality you're working on too. One suggestion for something that would be great is the ability to automatically rotate the wallpapers, or perhaps even integrate Pexels or something so you can search for a keyword and it will randomly display wallpapers from Pexels or another CC0 photo site.
- (2024-02-14) With the new update we got today, I lost all my notes that I had set up. Is there any way I can get those back?
- (2024-02-14) Xavier S: New permission demands to read your browser history. Remove that, and you get five stars.
- (2024-02-12) Jeremy Nalangan: aesthetically pleasing and functional default tab screen, my only complaint is the countdown start button looks like a rewind button, arrow should point to right!
- (2024-01-31) Anders Dahlgren: This extension looks promising! I'll see if I can integrate into my daily routine! Though a bump for me was that the pomodoro timer was reset if I switched between the functions/tabs. That way I just lost my timer 🤔 Oh, and the start pomodoro-button looks like the "back" icon in a music player. Shouldn't this be the "play" button?
- (2024-01-31) Sam Hutchinson: Nice, but clock needs to be fixed width - it jumps around too much with the seconds counter and doesn't feel too calm
- (2024-01-17) H Davies: I have the same problem as Hristiyan below. Any advice?
- (2024-01-06) Hristiyan Mitev: How I start this extension? It stays grey-out on the Extension list and when I click it, it opens this chrome store page.
- (2024-01-04) Brenna Bateman: I have loved integrating this into my workflow each day! Thanks for creating such an awesome feature, and that it isn't built behind any kind of paywall! :D Here are a few ideas, after utilizing for about 2 weeks: 1. Auto-start cursor on the subtask line after clicking on (+) subtask button instead of having to click-into the new subtask. (minimal, but helpful) 2. Auto add a new subtask after hitting enter/adding a previous subtask (quick adding a bunch of tasks all at once would be AMAZING for me) 3. Definitely an option to have just HH:MM without the seconds (distracting, as someone else mentioned). 4. The ability to move/rearrange subtasks after you have already added them (instead of only rearranging the entire tile) 5. I second being able to have tasks stack on the sides in a column or even above the clock? 5b. An option for a smaller clock on the top corner, then tasks stacked below each other on the side underneath that would be nice for half-windows or oversized monitors, as well. (Active window resizing, maybe?) 6. I second the request for priority tags! (Color coded or a system that recognizes flags, perhaps?) Can't wait for the next update!! (How soon will that happen, do you think?)
- (2023-12-25) Shaggy Dog: Very good! 4 suggestions: 1. Would prefer a settings option to have the time in 12h and slightly more minimalistic if possible ie 23:11:21 as simply 11:21 as the bouncing seconds timer can be distracting from work 2. An option to stack the tasks vertically on the left and right hand sides of the window (rather than below the clock) to take advantage of ultra wide monitors ie 1 page to hold everything without the need for scrolling. 3. Small RAG dot or colour coding for the tasks to show which ones are priority, normal, not urgent etc. 4. Day stated on the date ie Mon 25th December 2023
- (2023-12-23) Leon McCabe: Great App and looks stunning.
- (2023-12-21) Xander & Christine Neal (Wedding Photographers): This is great dude! 5 Stars for sure! I know it's built for 100% full screen but could I make a feature request for the clock to resize like the BG does, I often use my chrome in half screen :)
- (2023-12-20) Tim: Incorporating not only productivity tools and timers/clock, but also an aesthetic background into this one extension makes this a 'no-brainer' addition to any display on your desk setup. This is a wonderfully thought-out extension by the MDS team! Very intuitive design & UI .... the only thing I would ask for would probably be more background options, or the ability to personalize background with your own wallpapers, but I have NO doubt the MDS team will be pushing out lots of new updates and fun things to look forward to! Keep up the awesome work guys!!
- (2023-12-20) James Garner: This is awesome... Goes well with my screen light bar, humidifier and desk mat ;).
- (2023-12-20) Dave Graham: Looks great - can we have a clock option without the seconds please?
- (2023-12-20) Harrison Niap: Definition of aesthetics... the productivity part is a plus for me, hah! This is gonna stay as my Chrome Home for a long while. Props to the team. @harrisonniap
- (2023-12-20) Krijn Ermerins: Exactly what i needed. ALready ordered the Pomodoro timer from MDS to boost my productivity. Love the information on their blog, their products. They influenced me to start working on my own desk setup.
- (2023-12-20) A T: Great extension. Can you add a notification to appear once the timer is up?
- (2023-12-19) Abraham OrtÃz: The timers are not persistant. There is a kind of "lag" in the clock. It is a nice idea, but you need to improve it to compete with Momentum.
