Also, there needs to be an option where we can select resolutions from any video format. Lastly, I want the videos to be seen where they are downloaded in a separate tab and can see errors and retry downloading them, they can also be clicked to be redirected to the site they were downloaded from. I really like this extension ever since other extensions were banned after Manifest V3 was implemented

• (2024-07-22) Arthur Swart: Jumped through all the hoops, loaded two extensions (including the manual install) to Brave and still no Youtube downloads. Which makes this extension kinda pointless, the reason people install video download extensions is to download Youtube content (I know your cousin is busy downloading the local news, I'm talking about the general customer). I am not installing Edge to have this extension working, I use Brave for a reason.

• (2024-06-10) Greg Sweats: Tried several, this is the best except that the filenames, for me at least, are (random?) ID/GUID style strings, sometimes without a file extension. Not bad for a few downloads at a time, but I can't stand that level of attention and care, haha. Still, might be by problem, but even if not, this one out-does all the other Chromium based Video Downloaders. Trust me, I'm picky. Check my review for one other one. THANK YOU AUTHOR OF VIDEO HUNTER DOWNLOADER!ac So... until I figure that out, now grabbing a few videos, copying the URLs, and pasting into `yt-dlp` in the command-line to grab them, wonderful!
• (2024-04-27) Newman Kidman: Thus far, after trying more than 40 video downloaders, this downloader is the only extension, without it launching a website in the browser, that manages to download from the adult film site called "Beeg"; however, the problem it has is that it does not find the 1080p resolution, even when that is the resolution being played on the website. Fix the aforementioned problem, and you will have achieved perfection. For now, thank you very much. By the way, the extensions which do launch a website through which to download from say "Beeg" do find and download the 1080p resolution; so if they can do it, so can you :)
