The add-on adds a button to the ChatGPT webpage and with just a quick click, you can turn your chats into neatly formatted PDF files. It's super easy to use - perfect for keeping or sharing your interactions. The add-on uses the PDFCrowd API to create PDF.
Features:
- PDF page size and orientation
- Color theme selection
- Print selected sections only
- Option to exclude prompts from PDF
- Adjustable font size
- Customizable page margins
Important: All generated PDFs include a banner at the bottom which cannot be removed. Purchasing a PDFCrowd license does not remove the banner.
Install/Upgrade: To enable the button, open a tab with ChatGPT, click the puzzle icon in the toolbar, then click the three dots next to the plugin icon and confirm the permissions.

- Output is very pretty, but it did not work or a medium long chat (maybe 10 pages): Error occurred× The selected ChatGPT conversation is too large to process in one step. Please select a smaller portion of the conversation and try again. Why such strict limit? And it would be nice if the defaults after installing the plugin would be adjusted so that users do not have do fiddle with it to get a truly printable PDF: to "General Appearance" > "Color theme" > "Light" and "User Input Styling" > "Background color" > light grey and "User Input Styling" > "Text color"

- It keeps giving errors last days. Error including this message: Please refresh the page. The 'ChatGPT to PDF by PDFCrowd' extension has likely been updated. TypeError: Error in invocation of runtime.sendMessage(optional string extensionId, any message, optional object options, optional function callback): Message length exceeded maximum allowed length.

- Best PDF tool for ChatGPT out there. This is free, but it's WAY better than paid versions from other developers. I would have gladly given a "Buy me a Coffee" donation for this. Other tools create really bloated PDFs, so I love how this plugin outputs really lightweight file sizes. ChatGPT to PDF by PDFCrowd is perfect. 5 stars all the way.
