Restarting chrome or checking for updates does not fix this issue. Replying to every review does not fix the issue, either, that's just petty. All I can say is, it was nice for the 24 hours it worked as promised.

This will fast forward ads at lightning speed so a minute and half of ads are now 10 seconds, HOWEVER, every time it happens I discovered I would be laughing like a mad lad. Take that Amazon! Charging extra so we can skip ads we mute anyway? No thanks. There's a great deal of . . . glee at seeing those ads zipping by.

It speeds through all the ads in a few seconds and has improved the prime video experience so much. 10/10 would recommend. I weirdly prefer speeding through the ads in a few seconds over skipping them outright. There's something satisfying about it lol.

Most other adblockers, in fact all I tried, didn't work for prime video or at all anymore, but after seeing the ads go by in mere seconds after installing this, I feel I'm getting the last laugh on amazon. Genuinely thank you for making this, and I highly recommend for anyone considering installing.
• (2025-03-19) Eli Johnson: This is not an ad skipper, it simply speeds them up which is great but there is a difference in terminology. It would be nice if it went through the ads even faster. There are extensions like this for YT that can speed through ads at a much faster pace or actually skip them altogether.

• (2025-03-13) Luc G.: Well not quite an add skipper more an add super rapid 100x speed silent turbo booster lol :D which given Amazons ridiculous advert protection, this method to get around that works like a charm, just blasts silently through the add in a about 2 seconds and straight back to watching the show. Much obliged to the developers.

But this solved that and let me watch and enjoy the show again. Thank you very much for making this.

• (2024-11-02) Jaughn Dough: It doesn't block the ads, but it does fast forward through them. They only last maybe 5 seconds. It beats having to sit through them, and it definitely beats paying Amazon even more money, as though they aren't already making billions.

Really weird, I am honestly mad at Amazon for playing ads when I am already paying for the service.

I'd love if I could get an extension that skips the ads entirely, but at least making the the ad faster I'm not forced to pay the $3 a month extortion fee or (more likely) delete my Prime subscription. I can't give half stars, so I'll upgrade my 4.5 stars to 5 :)

• (2024-07-14) James S.: Update response to Dev: It was numerous episodes of the boys and some other shows, I only had this ad skip, hulu ad skip and Nord VPN extensions. I tried removing the hulu one but still had the issue and it would not skip ads on Prime. Ended up finding a extension that works on most sites so I am all set now worked great when I first installed it but lately it doesnt do anything, first I noticed any time a show was sponsored by Tmobile and only had the 1 ad at the start it would skip or fast forward through it. Now today I went the watch the animated The Boys show and the ads are just running like normal.
