Description from store
This is a simple text editor, but I will add features as time progresses. You can jump to line numbers, search for words or phrases in the text and make the font size bigger or smaller. There is an optional dark theme for night time writing (or just in case you like it) and all your preferences will be saved for the next use. Stay tuned!

- (2022-12-12) Louie Banuelos: Exactly everything it tells you it is. This is for people who want a barebones notes app without all the bells and whistles. Simplistic, utilitarian, easy to use, each note requires little space (great for chromebooks since they come with low memory compared to other devices) low CPU usage, what more can you ask for? Google docs is good and all, but it can take a good chunk of ram just to run (not ideal for chromebooks that only come with 4 gb ram) On the other hand I can use this notetaking app + have 18 tabs opened and my 2 core (celeron) N4000 CPU usage will only reach 60ish% tops, which is fairly good.

- (2019-10-18) Tom Terrific: I've been looking for a simple notepad type editor for quite a while and this app seems to fit the bill. It does file - Save - Save As - and seems to find all my attached thumb drives and SD cards. This is just what I need. I also like that it doesn't ask for a lot or permissions.
- (2019-05-03) Ed Jack: just got a Blank screen

- (2018-01-29) Bill West: Saves As via Files to Drive as a dot txt file that will open by Docs.
- (2017-12-15) Lennard Kowalik (Len): First thing I tried was to open an existing .txt file from Drive and from local storage - did not load. The author says features will be added as time progresses. Well, time has progressed over 4 years since the last update!

- (2017-09-24) Olexus Sherwood: This app does not work. To remove it, go to your settings in the top right corner and go to the sub: More Tools. Once in More Tools go to Extensions and you will be able to disable/enable or delete any extension running on your computer.

- (2017-08-04) Elaine Fabian: it would not open a file that was readable.
- (2017-08-02) Rosemary Grace: I downloaded this app to view rtf files for school, but what I saw when I opened them was a lot of code that made it difficult to read the text. I ended up using an online rtf to pdf converter instead.
- (2017-05-05) Nóra McGowan: doesn't work.
- (2017-03-20) Tidus Wggin: Terrible.
- (2017-03-16) Sara Otto: I couldn't get the dropdown menus to work, so no night mode. Then I tried to use the keyboard shortcut to open a text file and... it refused to load. Uninstalling now.
- (2017-02-10) Andre Simon: its so bad
- (2016-12-06) Simon Taylor: useles
- (2016-11-28) Alejandro Garcia: Takes forever and when it finally opened my file everything was in code.
- (2016-11-06) Jack Socha: Nov. 2016. Still the most reliable app. Just removed another that failed to save my text, would not change fonts, etc. The developer said it must be my Chromebook! I write for a living, so I need something that works! This does. This works well for me, as most of my writing is then "poured" into magazine and book layout programs. The text can be enlarged for easy viewing. About as distraction-free as you can get.
- (2016-10-10) Marlene G: doesn't open rtf properly
- (2016-09-28) Karen Lillie Filiatrault: Did not even come close to being able to read the required files the app transferred. Appears only as code still. Ineffective.
- (2016-09-05) Kelsey Lucas: didnt work for me.
- (2016-08-28) Connie Collins: RTF gave pages of code rather than text.
- (2016-08-08) It's quite effective for when I need to work on an essay away from internet, or something else for school, I prefer word as its caters more to my needs but as I cant use it offline this is a good substatute
- (2016-07-19) Alyssa Armstrong: it wouldn't open the files to let me see them
- (2016-07-17) Yolanda Altheimer: Recommends for RTF files but doesn't open them properly. Please resolve this issue and provide the correct app to read these files. Very annoying.
- (2016-07-03) Jean Sweeny: I find this app simple and an easy place to throw out ideas without any administrative distractions or requirements. It relieves me of the concern that my delicate idea will break-away before I capture its essence.
- (2016-06-21) Melissa Good (Aura Light): It was great the first God knows how many times I used it, but then it wouldn't, for some reason, open any files I wanted. If this gets fixed then I might put a better rating.
- (2016-06-16) Icycocosnake: Don't use this app if you are trying to open a rtf file on a chromebook. Instead, download the rtf file and open it in google docs.
- (2016-04-25) Mooshyy: It poop
- (2016-04-17) loyalty mccallum: it wont let me uninstall it to get different finals to open.
- (2016-02-07) Rio Dériver: terrible, just terrible. does not illustrate my documents or words properly. its a real shame.
- (2016-01-15) Rhianan Paga: opened a load of gobbledy gook lol x
- (2015-10-26) Michael Ashburne: Opens quickly and is usable offline, definite pluses. Don't understand why this is the ONLY text viewer my Chromebook OS recommends for opening RTF files when it is clearly not equipped to display them properly? Very odd as apparently this has been the case for a couple of years now... frustrating. Still, as others have said, a great plain text editor.
- (2015-06-02) Trey Rohm: Pretty good, very simple. Needs to prompt you to save changes before closing the app. Also needs to include .txt files in the open dialog filter.
- (2015-05-25) Tara Czekner: Usually I love it, but if you accidentally click out of your document, if you computer crashes, or if your laptop dies, you can forget anything you've worked on.
