- (2023-01-14) Oh Shit: Used to use Photo Impact and PhotoScape but both were Windows based and gave up Windows over 20 years ago, have been looking for a more complete Imaging app that does more rather than just little bits of this and that, this is the one FINALLY that is a true Image editing program...FINALLY....THANKS!
- (2022-11-19) matthew Blanchard: "Most powerful editing tool"? I cant select an area of a photo and copy it. Garbage. And I cant figure out how to get rid of it. Useless.
- (2021-12-14) Vee Satayamas: Polarr has every feature that I need for editing my photos, which I take causually. For example, it can crop, rotate, adjust temperature, adjust curve, and adjust brightness.
- (2021-09-14) Luca Gentile (Cyclorbit): DISCONTINUED - NO UPDATE SINCE 2019 It has just few feature, you can´t add text, stickers or whatever... it has the basic features that also google photos has
- (2021-04-09) AM Lindberg: This app is incredibly professional for 100% free. Im impressed that im not paying for this!
- (2021-01-21) Levi Galloway: Great app overall
- (2020-10-11) Krys: I downloaded this app last year and as much as I loved it, I ended up not liking it after trying it! It only lets you edit a limited amount of pictures and save only those. It said if I wanted to use the app more that I have to purchase a subscription monthly that I can not afford! It is an awesome photo editor. However, I am not going to use this ever again because of this issue! So, those that want to try this app and want only a free version then I highly do not recommend this one!!
- (2020-09-28) karen: Great app, very very user-friendly. One concern that I have is when I try to scan codes, it says "PLEASE UPDATE TO A NEWER VERSION OF THIS APP." How do I update it, if I can? In the meantime, I'll be using another program.
- (2020-09-12) Bill Cain: I've had Polarr Pro for about 4 years now. I used to use it to edit landscape photos. Insta @billcain I loved it for that. I was influenced by some other photographers, and transitioned to Lightroom. I was really disappointed in Lightroom, and cancelled the subscription my wife got me for Christmas, all while continuing to use Polarr Pro. I've recently found my real passion, which is taking skateboarding photos. Polarr Pro has been such an amazing editing tool. I recommend it to anyone looking to amazingly enhance photos!
- (2020-08-23) M. G.: All I want to do is resize and crop, but it's making me sit through a tedious tutorial on filters. Hard pass.
- (2020-08-19) Rebecca Nieto (Lady Lactuca): Love this app! You can do soooo much with it. It's a professional-grade app which takes a while to learn, but it makes photo editing so much faster! I never expected to get so much!
- (2020-04-13) Minerva Lovell: I love this app. an have been exsploring the option to upgrade for nearly 2 years. i would like to get some help. costamer service is a joke. im tempted to just download pic play an do away with polarr. if yall dont want my money ill go somewhere else.
- (2020-03-25) Krasimir450 Still: work perfect i'm very happy using it on chromebook
- (2020-03-19) Steve Warner: I have been a Photoshop user for years, and when it comes to photo editing, this app leaves nothing out. I have really enjoyed using it.
- (2020-02-16) Rich Hoback: Works great for easy and guided quick edits !
- (2020-01-09) paul watson: Totally agree with the review by Bria Sativa Aguayo, doesnt do much, just about the same as a phone
- (2019-11-04) Samantha Sale: didnt like the recent update where it changed everything just to add on adds and minimizes everything
- (2019-10-25) Eric Graig: Doesn't open. I wouldn't have given it 1 star since I would assume the trouble is mine alone. But others report this and the developer must have died or something.
- (2019-10-13) Savannah Darlene Hall: Honestly one of the best photo editors I have ever used!
- (2019-10-08) Asad Rauf: Best photo editor for the web.
- (2019-09-01) Matthew Howell: I paid for a yearly subscription, yet never received any of the benefits. I will be reporting this app to Google as a scam app.
- (2019-08-30) Anthony Norton: Very buggy. Behaved worse than a beta version on my Samsung Chromebook 3. Icons superimposed over reflection and rotation menu when screen was maximized. If there was a way to crop and move that portion of the picture, it was counter-intuitive. Overall, this program needs work. It should tutor first-time users as they use it. It might have a lot of power, but if the users exhausts themselves trying to do the basics, what's the point. And if they see obvious bugs, they might suspect it doesn't exists. I would prefer an old came-with-the-camera-works-the-way-you-would-expect photo editor app than this.
- (2019-08-28) Jason Vasilew: This app no longer works in chrome. I cannot get the tools on the side bar to open at all. The problem exists both on Windows and ChromeOS. I tried contacting support via email and they do not respond. Support finally contacted me. They acknowledged that there's an issue with the Chrome app and stated they are working on it. I hope it gets fixed soon.
- (2019-08-25) Brian Nordstrom: I like the adjustments that I am able to make, but there are a lot of features that I should be able to access that I am unable to. I can only access the "Adjustments" menu, nothing else...no cropping, no filters, no text. Not sure what the issue is. I checked the "free vs pro" menu and more than half of the things available in the free version I cannot access. The quality of what I can access makes me interested in doing the paid version, but not if I cannot check out the other features.
- (2019-08-11) David Verploegh: I take literally THOUSANDS of pics with everything from phone to NIKON. Still looking for a step up to get the special effects I'd like periodically. This app was clumsy to install, open, and it seems like I'd need to kidnap the developer to possibly understand the mindset necessary to use it. I'll keep trying for a while; however, I usually get something from good to GREAT results with free editors within MINUTES, and I've been fiddling with this one for DAYS.
- (2019-08-06) Jesse Droogh: ok this was a decent photo editor but then they changed it to only 1 export a day for the free version. #junk This was a photo editor that did the job being on a Chromebook but not anymore. will no longer be using Polarr. Do not download Polarr, look into something else and save your time.
- (2019-07-27) Curtis Blair: Most controls are intuitive but occasionally I find that I have to go find help.
- (2019-07-22) Klas Ericsson: Amazing. Makes photo editing a breeze on a Chromebook. No-brainer to pay for the pro version.
- (2019-07-14) momo: amazing periodt.
- (2019-07-11) Rin C.: Did not like it very much. It wasn't that useful and didn't really change my photo.
- (2019-06-18) Egil Svendsrud: To this price exellent
- (2019-06-09) TylerTheIdiot: 10/10 mlg 360 no scope is my nibba
- (2019-06-06) Paul Smiley II (KombuchaMshroom): wont even open...just stays on the black Polarr screen.
- (2019-06-01) Alex Law: Fantasitc, rivals lightroom!
- (2019-05-30) Nat: I dont have a smartphone, so when i want to edit photos i dont have access to instagram or VSCO. Ive tried a lot of online and chromestore photo editors (most are trash), this one is AWESOME. Very easy to use, it looks sleek, and has a lot of options/tools. It is free, but some of the tools are only available if you pay for pro. Obviously, this is very understandable, gotta make money in this world hah. Even so, this works AMAZINGLY without the pro tools (the only one i miss is brush, but not really needed for just a casual light/color edit to post to social media), but the app is so good, I am definitely considering getting the Pro subscription!! I would definitely recommend to people who want to edit their photos, a nice app similar to editing in VSCO, but not quite like photoshop. Overall, i'm very happy i found this app.
- (2019-05-29) Sushma Sharma: Like the application is real cool, but it needs more aesthetic effects, since I make book covers by this application, kindly do it.
- (2019-05-28) Eternal: Pretty good does what i need it to which isn't much. solid 9/10.
- (2019-05-23) Zach Adams: Please come back :( I paid for premium and love it, but wish I received updates like the versions for other platforms.
- (2019-05-22) Aisha Williams: nice and user-friendly
- (2019-05-19) Hannah Wiscombe: I love that I can select more than one picture to edit instead of opening another one after I'm done with the last.
- (2019-05-18) Duane Matthews: Really easy and simple to use, i would recommend this app to people for sure
- (2019-05-13) The Bittners: handles raw files
- (2019-05-11) Tormod Øverland: Simple. Easy. Unlimited.
- (2019-05-11) Walter Heindl: This is a very useful app when it's working; but unfortunately it is not working on CrOS 75 beta. I hope this gets fixed.
- (2019-05-10) awed wef: 0 starts if i could
- (2019-05-09) Guy Seeley: I have used Photoshop, This app has many of the same capabilities. Impressive!
- (2019-05-08) Thanasis Karavasilis: The best Lightroom alternative you can find for Chrome OS. I have been looking all over for something that can be as versatile and powerful, and Polarr is both. I highly recommend the PRO version
- (2019-05-07) Hanshi Marc Howes: This application just gets better and better. Gone are the old days where having a Chromebook was seen as a poor man's cousin to laptops. This application allows me to do exactly what I need to personalise my photos. All I can say to the developers is... Well done!
- (2019-05-05) Jessica Norton: Would've loved to be able to use it, but unfortunately I keep all my photos on my onedrive, and I can't select onedrive photos, really was excited to try the app, I gave it three stars since it's so popular, I just got the chromebook since my old computer fully died, but I can't use any of my old stuff due to me not being able to use my onedrive even though it's an app.
