• (2020-11-04) SSVM Preschool: It was working at several occassions and off late the voice is not getting detected at all. The same works on my phone but not as great as on my laptop. I have changed the setting switched on the mic and the settings were same as always. It just is not working at all now. If possible please help. Almost all my assignments were done on speechtexter now it is not detecting my voice for some reason.

Most of the work is taken down Steno (shorthand) typist. Yet at times I use this and I find performance of this speechtexter app satisfactory needing correction of some words.

• (2020-01-26) Alea Racht: In my initial testing of the speech to voice accuracy, I found it absolutely wonderful (basic American English with no accent). I've had a software program that I paid for that was so inaccurate that I finally gave up using it because I found that typing was faster than correcting all the mistakes. My world of potentials just expanded thanks to this program. Thank you!

• (2019-05-05) Anas Hashmi: This app is just a website and it actually works. You have to enable permissions for it to access your mic. The voice typing is only for the website. But on the website, you can speak characters like "enter" for new paragraph, "question mark" for ?, and so on. You can even add custom dictionary.

Then I said maybe the German accent is hard and opened a regular English video but it also couldn't read it This app sucks for English

This is just a regular word pad, and typing via keyboard is the only way to get words on the 'app'. I am appalled by the number of obviously fake reviews this program has.

I am currently typing well not really typing I'm actually speaking into my headset and this program is typing for me. As of now it has made 0 mistakes. I am using this to write a book. And I'm using this for my medical notes. I absolutely love this thank you so much for this program. Oh and by the way English is not my first language I am actually native Southeast Asian. Still zero corrections needed. I just want to emphasize that I am doing medical notes on this program and it is doing an excellent job. It knows all U.S medications I have mentioned, it knows all the diagnosis that I have mentioned, and there is absolutely minimal work on my behalf. Thank you once again. In the past I have used Nuance Dragon program. I have paid for that program. And I absolutely hated that program. This free program Speechtexter is absolutely mind-blowing the good. Once again zero mistakes thus far.

The best thing I've found and much better than any other software I've used for the same purposes (mainly the Microsoft one that comes with Windows 10, which is absolute rot). This will stop my carpal tunnel getting any worse. There are a couple of things that need ironing out - e.g. it occasionally jumps to the top of the page, but these are small and the benefits outweigh any issues to the point that it's still easily worth a 5-star review.
