• (2018-09-21) Mark Walker: It's great to control my Onkyo from my desk. If the app ever fails to connect, go to the settings on your Onkyo app on your phone and check the IP address. Go back to this app and go to Config. Enter the IP address, click Save and then Reconnect.

• (2017-09-16) tofu sandwich: very cool app! nicely put together. accessing the "net" menu on my nr-818 seems buggy. i can sometimes get the menus to appear (e.g. pandora stations) but most of the time they don't, and when they do appear, they disappear after being clicked. everything else seems to work well.

I contacted Onkyo, they suggested I clear the receiver (I suggest recording your settings first!); 1.While holding down CBL/SAT on the unit (Do not release this button until step 2 is finished.) 2.Press ON/STANDBY on the unit. “Clear” is appeared on the display and the unit will enter standby mode. -- http://www.onkyo.com/manual/txnr535/adv/en/054.html Then unplug for 30 seconds, replug and power on. After restoring my settings manually, this app, and the iOS app, were both working again!
