- (2022-10-29) Gyula Juhasz: Indicated my laptop screen resolution was 1534x864 pixels (HD) Wrong. Its an FHD display.
- (2018-01-18) James Murphy: really doesnt have any good tech info that i couldnt get out of the pc resources
- (2017-11-16) Neil J: It's an Acer chromebook 13" CB5-312T-K40U This "System" app has a tab named "Storage," but when you click it, the display is completely empty. Any hopes that it would show the size of the SSD solid state drive is dashed. Completely empty. I assume the problem is Chrome, not a deficiency on Dirk Einecke's part. In that case, I think, at least, the empty tab should provide an explanation for its emptiness. Feel free to educate us about why the OS can't display the total size of the ssd.
- (2017-09-14) Casey Strouse: Automatically enabling location information and defaulting to sending usage information is unnecessary. Make these things default to off and be opt-in.
- (2017-06-27) Ning Cao: good
- (2017-05-22) Bart Huitsing: Nice but does not show CPU load.
- (2017-05-19) Spencer “GreatWyrmm” Saunders: This is actually a pretty decent application for your most basic system info retrieval.
- (2017-03-31) Charles Trueblood: Indicated my system was Windows 32bit.....Its 64bit
- (2016-10-16) Daniel B.: The only thing it got right was i had one monitor and it was a PC and not anything else
- (2016-10-04) Pauli Murphy: No local Storage info displayed. Pity. That's what I was after. No matter :-)
- (2016-07-16) B Wilson: Excellent. I'm using on my HP Chromebook and it does a fantastic job showing device and system information. FYI, I have not had any annoying media fire or other ads, whatsoever. I launch the app and it works without any ads.
- (2016-07-14) Hal Francis: disappointing. NO O/S version info as promised. No internal storage info. NOT very useful at all.
- (2016-06-29) Miroslav Mrnka: SSD sorage is missing.
- (2016-06-16) janet ch: this does not give me the amount of space left on chromebook drive
- (2016-05-21) manmeatsmachine D.L.Y.: HP dv6 it tells no lie... I didn't like allways guessing what I'm running with... Thanks
- (2016-05-08) Gabriel Gregg Schmidt: First problem, you have to cancel that initial pop-up "Media file permissions for system". What's of most (only) interest to me is memory usage and storage. Storage is blank, and memory usage is so far off, shows WAY more memory usage than Chrome's task manager, and doesn't break it down at all. For me a useless app.
- (2016-03-17) Tukoz “French 4 Yemeni, RSA” Aki: Information it provides is much more readable than `chrome://system`. Has more details than `Cog` too. That said, - Why location? only sees external usb stick anyway.. - Shows no local storage (Acer chromebook CB5-311) - What uses for the anonymous data collection?
- (2016-03-14) Inacurate OS detection, so removed it
- (2016-02-27) Wu Hsiang Hsun: I like it. Small and useful.
- (2016-02-01) Nivethetha Sudhakar: cool app.shows good info about my system.
- (2016-01-20) Marc Heaton: Downloaded this app to track how much storage I have on my Acer C720. That functionality seems to not be working, at least for my model/brand of Chromebook. Promised, but not delivered. This app is useless to me.
- (2016-01-16) Glenn Martin: Doesn't show SSD info. That tab is blank. But it does show how much ram my Chromebook is using. Please Fix!
- (2016-01-14) Brian Heard: Found this on a You Tube presentation. Glad I can now verify my computers stats - similar info to that available on Windows
- (2016-01-09) cant see any of the specs for chromebook ie 32gb ssd or how much memory i have used or got left. so in a nut shell its poor
- (2016-01-09) Khail M: love it, i can see the specs of my chromebook ( acer c720 )the only problem is when i click storage, it only pops up with the titles of the chart and doesnt show how much i have left. overall, very nice :)
- (2015-12-30) neil burns: should be a pre installed system app! why chrome os has nothing like this is beyond me
- (2015-12-30) Rui Wang: The only real useful tab is the General tab, which is both incomplete and incorrect! I was really worried when this app was reporting that I had used 99% of my 4GB chromebook's memory. Turns out it doesn't take into account the buffers/cached memory...schoolboy error! A lack of realtime CPU usage is also kind of annoying.
- (2015-12-30) Cason Pham: Good enough for my Asus Chromebox. :)
- (2015-12-11) I like it better than the standard Chrome stats because it shows the % of memory usage.
- (2015-12-10) F L: I wanted to know my store. Told me I had 4GB left on my 32GB just opened laptop. Nope
- (2015-12-07) Johnny B.: Storage Tab Shows Nothing.
- (2015-11-21) Please change it so that there isn't always a "select location" pop-up every time a start the application. Other than that, the app is nice.
- (2015-11-03) Stephen Sloan: Good basic system information summary
- (2015-10-20) spidermanissupercool: No relevant system specifications.
- (2015-10-14) Maryam E: Highly informative for showing memory, CPU specs, display specs, ect. I wish that it didn't ask me my location every time I open the app; that should be a choice in App settings. I have a Toshiba Chromebook 2.
- (2015-09-28) Mark: Does exactly what it says. Could do with removing that popup about images.. its annoying and only really needs to be asked once.
- (2015-08-23) Tells ya what you need to know for your Chrome OS product. Not more more needed on this system, as it is not Windows or Mac OS.
- (2015-06-01) AdMan The “ATLR” Lab Rat: Works as advertised... does everything it claims AND it works online or offline. Except I am not sure about the statement "Provides a lot of technical infos about your computer" (-1 Star for befuddling me) True Claims:"What's in your computer? System provides a lot of technical infos about your computer. Facts: ------------------------------------------------ - CPU - Memory - Operating System - Online/Offline - Machine's idle state - Storage - Display - Network - Media galleries - Current location (latitude & longitude with map) Notifications: ------------------------------------------------ - Switch between online & offline - Display changes - A new removable storage is attached to the system - A removable storage is detached from the system"
- (2015-05-07) John Phillips: Would be much better if it shows SSD details. "Real soon now"?
- (2015-04-16) Marc Bernard Schauber: Needs work, but ok. Didn't show anything in the storage tab. I have a new Pixel (2015) and I wanted to make sure I was shipped the unit I ordered. Could see processor and ram, but no storage. Hopefully it will get updated and develop into something like the Sandra program for Windows.
- (2015-03-28) P. Crockett: Doesn't work on the new Acer Chromebooks. Wouldn't even show that a hard drive existed in the machine, let alone how much space was available. Hopefully a better app that actually works will come out soon.
- (2015-03-26) Sara McGarity: worthless
- (2015-03-19) XJ C: Pretty good app!
- (2015-02-27) Andy Lego: Incorrectly identified a 64-bit Windows 8 system as 32-bit. The Chrome browser is 64-bit.
- (2015-02-17) Derek White: I know that these Chromebooks don't hold a lot of memory, so I've kept my SD card and USB in mind as a backup device. My only goal was to know how much memory is being used so I can monitor it. Served it's purpose for me. >>Beware the default Anon. usage though<<
- (2015-02-12) Zavier Rahman: Great app but it got my address wrong.
- (2015-01-31) Jonathan Wayne: Acer C720: Pretty much only useful to see memory usage summary, no detail. SSD tab shows nothing at all. Annoying Media File Permissions popup when starting each time. Since it has so little valuable info, I am removing, but thanks anyway for your efforts.
- (2015-01-22) Jacob Moore: doesnt show storage information. window is not expandable so txt and info run off the side of the screen, making most side tabs unusaeable...
- (2015-01-19) George Beck: Most important info not available - storage use.
- (2015-01-18) Michael Weeks: Why does an app that looks at system info need access to my personal files/pictures and location? Too nosey!
