The "DNS Prop Tool" will allow you to work on your website during propagation when you have made a recent DNS zone change. Now you will not have to wait several hours when you purchase a new domain to be able to work on your site. This tool gives clear instruction and has an easy interface to edit your HOSTS file.
* Currently only supported with a Windows Operating System. Has been confirmed working on Linux with Fedora 20. I know it did not work with Fedora 18. Will confirm and consider other platforms at in future.

- This program doesn't really add any functionality. It simply instructs you to make the host file edits yourself. I'd rather manually do it anyways to know what is being done. I uninstalled it as fast as I installed it. Tips for other reviewers: Host File Locations: Mac: /etc/hosts Windows: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts To get to the app, you use the Google Chrome Apps Menu aka App Launcher.

- Not working on ChromeOS, cannot find the app or anything in a menu anywhere.
