NEW updated version for 2015: a new endless list of beautifully symmetric boards, a new highly readable handwriting font, and a bit more challenging levels.
Heidi's Sudoku is different from other sudoku programs because it gives good hints. It can gently guide you out of a jam without giving away the whole puzzle.
The Hint button highlights a few squares to concentrate on. Things are not totally given away, but if you hold down ctrl when clicking Hint, you will get more of an explicit hint.
You can select Colors to see which parts of the board should be easiest to figure out first, and which parts are really hard and should be left to the end.
Don't give up after you have hit a dead end in a puzzle. Use the Check button for a tip on whether you've made a mistake, and hold ctrl to see where it might be.
More features:
Switch between puzzles at your leisure.
Learn to see tricks like naked pairs, hidden sets, xwing, ywing, swordfish, etc.
Use mouse input or keyboard shortcuts.
Tap with a tablet or touchscreen laptop.
Pencil in notes, colors, or highlighting.
Ratings grade actual difficulty.
Save games or share with short urls.
Track your speed with an optional timer.
Enter and grade custom Sudoku puzzles.
Heidi's Infinite Sudoku is inspired by Heidi and David's favorite way to play Sudoku: we love puzzling together and sharing really clever hints.

- (2025-05-23) michael moran: Best Sudoku game I've played over the past ten years. Simple and straight forward game playing time without ads and the games are large enough to easily see.
- (2022-11-11) Howard Cunningham: No adds. Supports note marks. Verifies guesses to ease frustration. Works with touchscreen or mouse. Contrast could be better on my old ASUS Windows laptop - converted to Chrome OS, but that is a nit.
- (2020-01-30) Al Popcorn: Works well with many puzzle to choose from. The soft hints are very good. Thanks
- (2020-01-21) michael moran: Best sudoku game I have used but it is aggravating to be sent back to puzzle number one or two when you are trying to advance to number three hundred and something.
- (2019-11-24) Wazhushk Muskrat: If you like sudoku, this is a great app. It's a bit difficult to navigate around , but it does work.
- (2019-06-05) Scott O: 5 stars if they create a dark background with light numbers
- (2019-02-20) Leslie Lankford: i dont like the way it works ive seen better
- (2018-09-25) Adimurugan Venugopalan (APT 88): I wish to give 5 starts to it. But ... Reduced one star for not going to next puzzle some times. I am in 438 puzzle now. If I press next button, it goes back to puzzle 2. I have to press the next button 436 times to come where I left. It happens sometimes only. Reduced one star for the hard levels they declaring. If they say hard level easy, it is very difficult. If they high hard level, it is easy to decode quickly. First give your entry level puzzles to new player and check it. Reduced one more star for not showing all the numbers decoded before in the puzzle. For example, if I take the cursor to the number 1 in the right side box, it should show all the 1's that are already solved in different color. It will be easy to find missed cells.
- (2018-01-15) Sheila Lothamer: I enjoy playing but as was said by others there need some work on the it needs a few changes, like on the option of not clear without asking if you are sure because you could delete a puzzle before you were done.I would also like it if it would highlight a mistake when ask.
- (2017-11-25) Frank Santoro: I just don't believe that the ratings that you give each puzzle are completely accurate. I recently did a puzzle that was labeled "Impossible". It was hardly impossible. The same is true for "vexing", "troubling", etc.. I think you should step up the difficulty level of these puzzles. I'm not trying to appear snobbish. Believe me, I am hardly an expert in the Sudoku world.
- (2017-07-09) Kevin Jones: The "beginner" puzzles are just too hard to complete!
- (2017-07-04) William Powers: so far its great
- (2017-04-15) Bruce Babcock: There are multiple solutions to many of the harder puzzles, therefore this is not a game of logic it is a game of guessing and trying. I like single solutions.
- (2017-03-12) David Turner: I love the complex analysis that shows how to solve the intricate puzzles!
- (2016-12-02) Nancy & Doug Davis: I like the way you can easily enter multiple numbers in a square. The hint feature is nice because it helps you learn to think. The clear button could have verification as others have said. It is difficult to assign levels because a solution may happen easy or hard with the same puzzle, but some choice in difficulty level would be helpful.
- (2016-09-09) rahul meel: awesome app endless and interesting there is a need of improvement in "hint" and "clear" option/button
- (2016-09-01) Omisile Kehinde Olugbenga: I just like the game and the fun. Although the beginner is no beginner at all compared to other SuDoKu...I understand beginner could be a relative term.
- (2016-08-18) jayhgoodwin: There doesn't seem to be a way to simply add the marks I want myself; instead I have to edit each and every cell because the game populates all of them with every possible number, making the game much more confusing. The shortcut keys make the game far more cumbersome than it need to be. There is not even a straightforward way to choose the level of difficulty I want to play, instead the player has to click through TWENTY FOUR options to get to the desired level It's a very simple game, it need not be such a complicated app to use. Uninstalling.
- (2016-08-17) Abdelouahab Charaallah: BEST OF THE BEST, I LOVE IT VERY MUCH THANK YOU DEVELOPER ;)
- (2016-06-22) Oumarou Dia: Potential to be one of the greatest Sudoku app, but for me the most important does not seem to work for me that is filling out unique candidates! So I am going back to Sudoku of the Day on my tiny mobile phone until this is resolved.
- (2016-06-03) Adam Priest: This is the worst sudoko app I've seen yet
- (2016-05-09) Dani Navarrete: hints need improvement and there needs to be some way to save since I use it at work and if I change computers (or want to use it at home), I will have to start from scratch (yes, I have all sync with the same acc and settings, and most games save the info but this one)
- (2016-04-08) C Boeneman: The hints are too cryptic and the input is almost invisible. The beginner puzzle didn't seem very like "beginner" to me. There are better Sudoku apps out there. I'm saying goodbye to this one.
- (2016-03-26) James Wood: I would give it a 5 star but the hints need to have an explanation so that the user can learn to know what they mean.
- (2016-01-11) Francisco Lozada: fun game addictive
- (2015-12-12) hassan zayed: so good
- (2015-12-11) Martin Armenta: Best brain game ever!!
- (2015-10-31) Michael Enders: It was working great for a while, then suddenly the numbers 7, 8, and 9 no show up in notes only as underline characters that are very hard to see.
- (2015-10-29) Kevin McLeland: the input is totally confusing.
- (2015-10-20) Janet Werner: Definitely not a beginner level. No way to mark out numbers that have been completed. No way to highlight across and down a row by clicking on a number. Not as much fun as others I have played.
- (2015-10-18) Celesteen Garcia: to easy
- (2015-10-11) Tony Morales: Sometime the "clever" is easier than the "basic" but - what the heck - I enjoy it.
- (2015-09-17) Richard Weir: I am liking it, though it will take time to get used to using it. I would like to see some improvements in input methods. At present, it can get clunky. Perhaps if shift or ctrl could be used to indicate "I want to enter a pencil mark" or "I want to enter a solution". (I would most love it if right-click could be used, but I understand that's not available to HTML5 coders!) Also, could there be an "are you sure" check on hitting Clear. Nuking a near-finished puzzle because you meant to use Check is annoying!
- (2015-09-14) Roxy: Love the puzzle
- (2015-09-07) Glenn Minks: I have much more playable, enjoyable, better looking, better functioning sudoku apps on my phone. Why can't I select a difficulty level? Why doesn't the check button highlight errors? Of course I realize I didn't win, and I see my double-numbers. If I knew why they were doubled, I'd be able to solve the puzzle. Check button should help with that. Hint doesn't seem to do anything. And difficulty seems to be arbitrary, having nothing to do with the title of the puzzle you're playing. Not well executed...
- (2015-09-01) Thomas OBrien: Cannot change levels easy. The number pad option hides the cell.
- (2015-08-18) Tala Keltner: Exactly what I have been looking for.
- (2015-07-30) Janice Henderson: I love the Heidi's Infinite Sudoku. It helps me when I'm lonely, it makes me think.
- (2015-07-17) Sandy Cooper: it doesn't work so it's so stupid
- (2015-07-16) Tina R: great game but the beginner game definitely is not for beginners its more expert via microsoft in comparison
- (2015-07-10) David Bry: why is the clear button right next to the action without a confirmation of some sort?!!? arg
- (2015-06-15) Richard Rogers: addictive
- (2015-06-11) Brian K: entered number 7 Sucks
- (2015-06-07) Bob Wright: great app, good function and view, descriptions of puzzles aren't accurate tho :)
- (2015-05-13) Velree Friday: It is a good way to spend time when you have nothing else to do or just for fun.
- (2015-04-12) Jim Regan: Very good Sudoku app. Love using it to solve difficult games from newspaper. Would like ability to 'tag' numbers in the right hand choice column with color or strikethru when all of that number have been entered.
- (2015-04-08) Nano Czarny: I am addicted to this game. The format is great and simple to use.
- (2015-03-25) too many easy or beginner levels thrown in, but passes a while now and again...
- (2015-03-21) Andrew Misovec: funderful
- (2015-02-25) Theo Steward: Absolutely top notch, a treat.
