Description from store Explore math with Desmos! Plot functions, create tables, add sliders, animate your graphs, and more -- all for free. At Desmos, we imagine a world of universal math literacy and envision a world where math is accessible and enjoyable for all students. We believe the key is learning by doing. To achieve this vision, we’ve started by building the next generation of the graphing calculator. Using our powerful and blazingly-fast math engine, the calculator can instantly plot any equation, from lines and parabolas up through derivatives and Fourier series. Sliders make it a breeze to demonstrate function transformations. It's intuitive, beautiful math. And best of all: it's completely free. Features: Graphing: Plot polar, cartesian, or parametric graphs. There’s no limit to how many expressions you can graph at one time - and you don’t even need to enter expressions in y= form! Sliders: Adjust values interactively to build intuition, or animate any parameter to visualize its effect on the graph Tables: Input and plot data, or create an input-output table for any function Statistics: Find best-fit lines, parabolas, and more. Zooming: Scale the axes independently or at the same time with the pinch of two fingers, or edit the window size manually to get the perfect window. Points of Interest: Touch a curve to show maximums, minimums, and points of intersection. Tap the gray points of interest to see their coordinates. Hold and drag along a curve to see the coordinates change under your finger. Scientific Calculator: Just type in any equation you want to solve and Desmos will show you the answer. It can handle square roots, logs, absolute value, and more. Inequalities: Plot cartesian and polar inequalities. Visit www.desmos.com to learn more.

  • (2023-07-27) Tim Harig: I cannot see that this extension does anything but provide a link to the website which makes it useless.
  • (2021-11-11) Austin Huang: Terrible, most math activities are not helpful. And the retexture just puts my eyes in pain. If our class could write down every complaint we came up with, than the etire amount of papaer on earth would be used.
  • (2020-02-18) Sanjit Sarda: I love Desmos, but a Chrome Extension is unnecessary, because it is just a link to the website, and there is no offline mode(Which is the main purpose of Chrome extensions which already have websites).
  • (2018-10-31) Daniel Cannon: Works well, easy to use.
  • (2018-04-11) Gunnar Thorburn: Very nice, but i needed a log-log-graph, and that seemed to not be supported.
  • (2018-02-21) Matúš Ždanský: Intuitive and useful.
  • (2017-12-13) Morocan Rap: formidable
  • (2017-11-04) sortofexisting ._.: Very helpful! Not really an app, though, as it takes you to a website. But the website is amazing. Only problem would be that it is a little bit difficult to export to a word doc, but it wasn't that bad. But very great website!
  • (2017-10-21) Landel Reynard Razal GAMBOA: first of all, it cant add it to y slider. 2nd, it needs internet to open the app.
  • (2017-10-12) Rikdiculus Au: sucks
  • (2017-09-29) A: I love desmos it's amazing along with Mathematica
  • (2017-09-20) Yasir Abuelhassan: It is really wonderful
  • (2017-06-08) mollie Wilford: Its easy to use especially on my phone... I find it helpful
  • (2017-05-17) Technotoadnotafrog: I use it for art projects. The sliders and overlapping shading are very useful, and I save a lot of time not having to put everything in y= form.
  • (2017-05-10) Very useful and easy to use application. I just wanted to plot a few functions and run some tests using sliders (nice feature!). It took me just a few minutes to learn how to do it.
  • (2017-05-02) Aaron Meighoo: I think you guys could maybe incorporate the z-plane. It can increase the application of this app. Otherwise it is an excellent product :D
  • (2017-04-14) Sarah M: Just a link to the website. If anyone wants an offline version use Desmos Test Mode. Lacks a few features like being able to solve single-variable equations (for obvious reasons), but serves its purpose.
  • (2017-02-22) Colin Lee: A useful tool for describing different graph interactions. Only wish the table function had the option to automatically calculate the results.
  • (2017-02-02) Dr. Blockcraft: While it isn't perfect, I find it's extremely useful.
  • (2016-12-30) Jason Herbstler: Good app for students to use on their computer. Very user friendly
  • (2016-11-05) Dr. Daniel Leclair: Awesome!
  • (2016-09-20) Blake Nicholson: Love the app, it works perfectly for any graph you could want to make!
  • (2016-09-16) Mobarock Tanvir: Fabulous
  • (2016-09-09) Ken Thomas: Would be perfect if it worked offline.
  • (2016-07-31) Elo Oak: No auto-scaling. 4+???
  • (2016-07-11) Femboy Forever: Unreliable, unable to understand complex functions in plot; e.g. doesn't understand cos^3 (x), and no, doing cos^2 (x)*cos(x) doesn't work.
  • (2016-06-18) Jeff Sprenger (xemjeff): I was very impressed with how easy it is to enter equations, create multi-line plots, polar plots. This is a must-have chromebook app for those in STEM related careers. The zoom and pan features are intuitive.
  • (2016-05-26) Em James: Five big fat stars. Enter the equation of a circle, add sliders for the values of a and b, press play and watch it go.
  • (2016-04-28) Ted Alexander: Just a link, but definitely a great service on the other end of said link...
  • (2016-04-24) Brian Smith: Very easy to use and very powerful
  • (2016-04-24) Maria Jones: every time i tried to enlarge my graph, the graph would mess up.
  • (2016-04-05) Ismael Rosado, Jr.: I'm a high school algebra teacher. I teach Algebra II, it is a great tool for teaching graphing equations and inequalities. Thank you!
  • (2016-03-19) Nagy Shoukralla: Awesome, Has incredible functionality. Needed in EVERY Math classroom. Over all simple and great tool to use.
  • (2016-03-18) Paul - Djuly: easy use self explanatory

  • (2015-11-16) Shane C: Still wish it could run offline.
  • (2015-10-08) Beth Hentges: Very easy to use! Love the sliders, implicit curves, etc. Wish there were more colors and that they were each brighter.
  • (2015-09-23) Meredith Watters: this is the bomb man
  • (2015-09-13) Ralph Grant: Excellent app, both online version and mobile version. All you need for math up to grade 12
  • (2015-09-11) Ben Matthies: Great tool to help students visual see a graph and allows them to help make predictions - Mr.Math
  • (2015-09-04) Luke Boguski: awesome for everything
  • (2015-07-31) Allen Holmes: This app is superb. It is universal, usable on IPad, Nexus 7, as well as computers. It is logically designed and powerful. It gives one the ability to collaborate and share results with others across all devices. It is a living, growing work in progress. This review was written by a professor of mathematics who worked with Beberman and Vaughan back in the dark ages and really appreciates the quality of this work. The only app which comes close to this is GeoGebra. Recent additions of regression, folders, and images make this app even more useful
  • (2015-07-25) Star Williams: Great functionality on the iPad.
  • (2015-06-21) Snail Pie: Desmos is great for graphing 2 dimensional linear inequalities and functions, as well as performing calculations, but there are a few things I feel the program lacks. Desmos is able to differentiate functions in respect to a variable, but is not able to integrate a function in respect to a variable, which may be a bit of a problem if you're doing integral calculus. Furthermore, the program lacks in matrices, vectors, and the ability to graph in dimensions higher than 2. It also lacks the ability to calculate imaginary and complex numbers, so I suggest adding a real and imaginary plane.
  • (2015-06-16) Peter Weidman: perfect app. If you want to print in Word. Turn on projector mode. Go to Format picture. Turn up to 100% sharpness. Works Great!!
  • (2015-06-08) JP Beauman: I use it all the time in my classroom.
  • (2015-05-28) magda sh: very good
