Design in 3D what you've always dreamed of, but never thought possible. Until now. Join the Tinkercad community and learn how to create your first real things in just a few minutes.
Intuitive designing.
Designing with Tinkercad is child’s play. Drop shapes on the workplane and punch holes to create the things you want. Tinkercad creates an STL file from your design, a standard format used universally by 3D printers and printing services.
Game like Lessons.
Lessons – small games – teach you 3D and make learning to design fun. After a few lessons, you’ll be creating toys, decorations, jewelry, accessories, spare parts...things you’ve always wanted just the way you like them.
You have a browser, you’re ready to start.
Tinkercad uses the latest WebGL technology and runs in the newest Firefox and Chrome browsers. Forget software installations, you’re already set to start. Every click, twist and turn you do to your design is saved to the cloud. Open your work on any computer, any time. Design your first 3D printable creation with Tinkercad.

- (2019-08-07) Ethan Pu: Terrible all it is is asking you for money. Waste of time. Worst. App. Ever.
- (2019-05-09) chid: I use the website, but it's great to use with my 3D printer! It's easier than most other sites and apps.
- (2018-07-13) Mia Bjelogrlic: I tried this app for Chomebook for scale designing, but you're limited to under 37" cubed of workable space. Yes, it's intended for small scale design but I was hoping I could use it for larger things but alas. Great program tho.
- (2017-11-21) faiza rizwan: its cool but when i want to open the page it takes many hours to open on my computer
- (2017-10-23) sister maria Monahan: It's great .Just love it!
- (2016-10-30) Marcus Cosker: Doesn't let you model in real world unit sizes for example you can't use it to plan out building something from 2x4 wood lengths. It would be great if there were more options for units feet for example or at least allow scaling.
- (2016-04-15) Benita Suber Bey: I was not allowed access to sign up to use this application.
- (2016-03-22) Sarah O'Rourke: I just got started learning the basics of 3D design and this is my favorite tool out there. Simple, fun and easy. I feel like I am always learning something new and even teaching my 7 year-old daughter.
- (2015-04-22) Amanda Haughs: Fantastic! Easy to learn. User friendly.
- (2015-03-13) Karl Gingerich: This is the browser replacement (i.e. a Chromebook user) for Sketchup, tho not as professional. Odd shapes are tedious to do, but doable - watch some videos on YouTube. Overall, I am very pleased in being able to do 3D models etc. The user interface is easier to learn than Sketchup. You don't have to use it to order 3D prints either. I love to be able to cut and merge for odd shapes and also when you slice them to have them stay as two actual independent shapes/objects. That would make odd shapes easier.
- (2015-01-08) xxPomPurin Sanxx: i have printed out one of my designs and i love it, it was a bit wobbly because i didn't pay much attention to the scale. It's still the best :D
- (2014-07-29) annabel rankine: Bad. Bad. Bad. You have to be a age to do it! We had to sine in to use it, so i put my real birthdate, and i was too you! Im in year 7! And it would not let me retry to sine up!!:P:P:P Not a good app.
- (2014-03-15) Nigel Ford: Nice enough when it worked. It now won't let me generate shapes.
- (2014-02-06) Jerry Waller: Super-simple way to get started with 3d modeling.
- (2013-06-07) Rey Alicea: Fantastic!!!! Tinkercad is back!!
- (2013-02-25) Mike Ghen: Easy to use. Best UI for a CAD program. Perfect for RepRapers. Love the walk through!
- (2013-02-19) bob mcc (ChewableTablet): works perfectly for 3d printers
- (2012-11-19) Sam Daitzman: Terrific. From design to ease of use to cost, best free CAD I've ever found. Terrific tutorial, based on webGL, really really fast. My only complaint is that I can't rate it six stars in the Chrome web store.
- (2012-02-28) Mike Barnes: Looks great but keeps telling me chrome incompatible??
- (2012-02-05) Carlos Hernandez: Great App!
