- (2023-07-21) John H: Just got started and I am very impressed. I am using a Chromebook to get most of the coding done prior to uploading to the server for testing. I am using an 11 inch display on my Chromebook, so an option would be to be able to close the right hand outline of the file and also to hide the file tree. Another suggestion would be reviewing your themes as i was looking for a light theme. The one issue I came across is that you cannot read highlighted text when you copying or whatever. These are just suggestions for future releases. I would recommend kicking the tires on this app.
- (2022-05-09) Zakarya Carroll: Please make this app open source, I would love to crack it open and look inside it. Otherwise it is a very good editor and serves my purpose very well!
- (2021-10-01) Griphcode: Well it would be good if Debug features and a terminal would be on this but else it's pretty good
- (2021-06-20) Vinod Kumar: Pretty good . Has some minor bugs & missing features but does the job pretty well . Open sourcing this would be a good idea
- (2021-04-06) Vaz 2106: this is good
- (2021-04-02) Сергій Тищенко: This was the first editor I tried on ChromiumOS. Turned out it is unable to open a file when I have already opened a file with a similar name (but a different path). So I've just given it a try to Code Pad and that works fine. Removed this editor.
- (2021-02-14) Ian Acklam: Just started learning javascript via udemy - i was using caret but just found this and its awesome! - the autocomplete is much better than caret, the only thing ive noticed is not being able to select all of the themes that are available, but as i said im just starting out and this seems to be a great editor! (i have tried various linux editors as well but prefer the chrome os ones tbh) - great work!
- (2021-02-11) Mark Newton: Beautiful work Tomas, thank you so much, this needs shouting about from the rooftops. At last I have a Carat replacement, and so few distractions too. Thank you so much. Is this open source, can we contribute?
- (2021-01-20) owo booperlv: This was and probably will be for years to come - the one code editor that I'll be using any time I need to code on my chromebook. It basically has most if not all the things I'd need for front end(I usually use a test domain for the testing out the back end and server stuff). Not the most configurable as there is no "settings.json"-like-file here, but otherwise this is really great. Massive Kudos to the maker.
- (2020-04-01) Lucas Hernández: Just amazing... With this app my Chrome OS device is complete. Great work. Super recommended.
- (2020-01-12) Taiki Komoda: Amazing!
- (2019-09-22) Joel Zehring: Gives me a bunch of the VS Code feels on Chrome OS without all the command-line tom-foolery required to install VS Code on a Chromebook.
- (2019-09-11) Lorenzo Nargiso: There is not a function to import a "project" and list all files. This is a critical function or it can be used only for very small project :/ (i can see that function on the screenshot, but cant undestand how to do it!) EDIT: OK, shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+O. Very nice :)
- (2019-09-09) Paulo Oliveira: Really great job. Don't stop with this project!
- (2019-08-26) JaayLight: Very nice and clean editor. Hope to useit as my daily driver, but for that i need some small features to be added: Split screen editing, like having 2 files in one window. A menu bar so things can also be used like that and not only by keybindings. Good luck with your project and hope to see more from this editor soon
- (2019-07-22) Connor Dowd: Great editor. I love the simplicity of it. I realize this may sacrifice a lot -- but is there any chance of split screen editing? Having two files visible makes a big difference. At the moment I´ve settled for running two apps simultaneously to deal with this.
- (2019-05-22) Just in Time: is there an option for syntax highlighting of dart?
- (2019-05-12) MAHDTech: Amazing work! looking forward to see it progress in the future. As far as wish list goes. * Vim keybindings * git integration * syntax highlighting improvements * Markdown preview
- (2019-04-26) Dan B: This is fantastic. Caret was my go to plugin for the last few years. This one has just replaced it. If someone could only make a great FTP client for ChromeOS, I'd be Windows-free! *Hint hint* (a FileZilla replacement is desperately needed)
- (2019-04-23) yw662: jsx is not supported, maybe add it please. And please add some buttons for switching between tab and space, and 2/4/8, or might it be possible for auto detection ? and is there a way to change font size and font family ? Btw, I know it is kind of hard to impl, but might there be a built-in crostini shell ?
- (2019-04-02) Matheus Murden: Please, add a option to change the syntax highlighting! I cant edit my .vue files in this editor, that is the only thing stopping me from using it as my daily driver!
- (2019-03-05) Samuel Hautcoeur: Has great potential! Would love to see an option for a menu bar - it would make adoption easier for some users
- (2019-03-04) Kyle Graehl: Very clean design
- (2019-03-04) Spencer Churchill: awesome and simple editor!
