Image to PDF - the best converter online
The Smallpdf tool „Image to PDF“ allows you to convert all kinds of images easily to a PDF for free.
You can upload your image and also multiple pictures easily by drag-and-drop or traditional upload and you can get started right away while the file is still uploading.
In the preview are you can see exactly how your PDF is going to look like: how large the margin is going to be, what page format you choose and if the orientation of the images is correct. Once you are satisfied with your result, you can generate the PDF and it will download automatically to you hard disk.
The app does not use ad watermarks on you documents, has no upload limits and is entirely free. The files you upload and generate on the site are deleted permanently from the server within one hour after the upload.

- (2019-12-26) Jae X: I don't have a problem with people charging for apps. But I do have a problem with misrepresentation. This is not a free app. It's a two week trial of an app that costs $12 a month. Fine. If I was using it in a business, that would be reasonable. I just wanted to convert a few documents for a one-off task. By marking it as free in the store, you wasted my time as I installed a tool that is not what I need. At least update and make it clear that you are offering a paid service. :/

- (2017-08-03) Jessie Hall: I tried to convert a pdf to word. When i tried to open the word file I received an error message. No matter how many times I tried to convert my pdf to word, the resulting file was always corrupted.
- (2017-06-10) Jennifer Meyer: Well, it's my own fault. I wanted to convert from PDF to JPEG. It doesn't accept PDF as an input format. So I can't say if it works the other way around, it just doesn't do what I need.

- (2016-06-15) Sara Burke: Pros: Easy to navigate layout. Cons: There isn't an opportunity to preview the pdf form before conversion. The images are compressed, so the quality drops a lot. Only allowed 2 conversions per hour, otherwise you must pay for a subscription. Try the "Multiple Images to PDF" app instead. It's a little clunky, but much more useful with its plethora of settings.

Overall great app. Saved me countless hours trying to deal with creating a PowerPoint presentation, then compressing the photos, then editing it again, then saving it as a PDF...only to find the photos that are now compressed are much smaller. This app is amazing... Thank you!!
