Image from store Diginow Serial Terminal
Description from store This HTML5 based serial terminal makes use of Google Chrome's serial APIs to give you access to all of your serial ports on any OS. It works well with Arduino and similar prototyping platforms and all sorts of serial devices. It brings together all of your platforms, linux, mac, windows and more so that you don't need to use multiple serial terminals depending on what computer you are on.

  • (2019-08-21) Violin Wang: It seems that the baud rate is locked at 9600
  • (2018-01-23) Bryce Nesbitt: Murky. Can't figure out how to set the baud rate, can't get it to work at all. I ended up with BeagleTerm for ChromeOS instead.
  • (2017-10-03) Frankie Fury: Don't want to slate other persons work, but it didn't suit my needs. Not good for Network devices (i.e Cisco console) Would suggest similar to other user how you change the baud rate etc. ALso, another tool to add in screen capture.

  • (2016-06-12) Aaron Norris: There is no way to change the baud rate. This causes massive problems.
  • (2016-04-21) David Haile: It is not apparent how to change from the default 9600 baud. Clicking on what appears to be a Command window does nothing. Uninstalled.
  • (2016-02-27) Excitron: can not change baud, dead unusefull
  • (2015-07-16) Matias Dobovsek: Poor design and features. I couldn't set the baudrate (sure a bug or the result of a poor HMI)
  • (2015-07-13) Adilson Oliveira: Looks interesting but I can't change the baud rate
  • (2015-02-25) Michael Burton: It can't be used with spark.core. It appears to send an extra CR with each command and this can't be configured. Also the effects around the text box cover the first character you type so you can hardly see it. E.g. If you want to send a command of "l" it's completely hidden.

  • (2014-03-26) David Gray: This was the only Serial Monitor I found that works with our 6502/65816 based dev boards. It worked great. Unfortunately there is no option to read in the CR (carriage return) character like on Hyperterm. Still a cool program though.
