- (2025-07-12) Dan Young: Hi Dev! I've used this extension for a while and have found it extremely useful! The latest update was a problem, but I appreciate your response to the response and was looking forward to the fix. Unfortunately Chrome's policies have finally ticked me off enough to leave, so I wanted to ask if you might be able to port this extension to Firefox? Thanks for your work regardless.
- (2025-06-30) Philipp Bauer: The prevent background downscaling doesn't work.
- (2025-06-24) Jakub Kubo: not working
- (2025-06-24) Alejandro Rodrรญguez Pรฉrez: Worked fine until it asked to read all my data. Switched to Twitch AntiQuality Switcher instead.
- (2025-06-22) John Dick: Hey dev. You can read my data all you want but at least make the extension work like it used to do.
- (2025-06-22) Shaban: apparently, after today's update (June 22nd, 2025), this extension no longer works. it still worked perfectly fine yesterday but right after the extension was updated today, it stopped working :( Edge Version 137.0.3296.83
- (2025-06-22) Jmac: After the recent update it requires the permission "to read and change all your data on all websites". Any excuses, dev?
- (2025-02-21) Ryan Smith: This seems to work great and fixes a huge annoyance! I did have one question. In the description it talks about enabling it per-stream, where is that configuration? Maybe update the description with more details? Thanks much.
- (2024-11-18) Kevin Jin: Can you make it work on the embedded player as well?
- (2024-11-01) Jonathan: Doesn't work
- (2024-07-11) Sai Oku: Honestly never rate extensions but this one deserves it. Its simple, effective, and does what it says. I was researching for hours for a solution to this problem, and this fixed it. Thank you sm for sharing this!
- (2024-05-06) Lardman: as todd howard would say.. It just works
- (2024-04-23) Mob Barley (Addicted to streams): Ya this is keeping the stream in perfect quality. I like that I can also disable on some tabs so I can have dj streams in the background not using extra uneeded data and still have any streams I want in top quality at the same time. How was this not a thing before this.. Thank you!
- (2024-04-08) Overly Critical Gamers: For years I've been putting up with Twitch sassing me whenever I dare to switch over to another tab and multitask for more than a few seconds. Quality gets throttled down and sometimes a stream freezes altogether just because I wasn't "actively" watching that window, as if Twitch thinks viewers NEED to be looking at a stream at all times. These problems would usually lead to delay adding up over time, so if I left someone up on lurk for a couple hours while doing other things, I'd find that my chat would be lagging minutes behind unless I refreshed the browser...which often caused ads to start up again just because I had the audacity to try and resolve a delay caused by Twitch's weird quality throttling. As far as I can tell, this plug-in fixes all that. I was a day one user when I happened upon the announcement of this being released and I am absolutely grateful to the developer for taking the time to make this.
- (2024-02-25) Erik: Did what it says it does, Nice.
