Description from store
Free from SAS Curriculum Pathways, Writing Navigator is a suite of tools that provides guidance and support throughout the writing process: planning, drafting, revising, and publishing.
• Writing Planner: Students determine their purpose and audience. They generate ideas and organize a plan, gather research information, group and sequence their ideas, and review their writing plans.
• Writing Drafter: Students transform their plans into first drafts. They develop sentences, supporting details, and transitions; create introductory and concluding paragraphs; gather research information; and analyze their writing to improve sentence patterns and transitions.
• Writing Reviser: Students refine their draft and gather research information. They focus on organization, sentence structure, and diction. By learning to ask questions experienced writers ask automatically, students begin to express themselves with greater precision and power.
• Writing Publisher: Students complete their research and finish their essay. They use tools for proofreading. For research papers, they document sources using an innovative feature that generates internal citations and a Works Cited page.

- (2017-03-22) Keren Burdo Foley: What a wonderful tool for students to use prior to their submissions of AP Literature & Composition essays. This tool does so much, from showing where there is power in the sentences, to where transition or verbs may be misplaced.

- (2015-11-28) Janae Atwood: This seems like a very incredible resource for those who really wish to expand their horizons, record their thoughts and write their hearts out.
- (2015-09-27) Adam B: I am a college professor of history who believes that writing is an essential part of learning and assessment. The students in my courses sometimes have trouble with the standards of college-level writing. This app helps them improve their writing, which saves me time and allows me to focus on teaching history, not writing.
