Jungian Type is the culmination of extensive research of Swiss psychiatrist C J Jung and the subsequent work by Isabel Briggs Myers (1897-1980) and her mother Katharine Cook Briggs (1875-1968) and many others. The Jungian Type helps assess individuals across a range of four scales and helps build a picture of our particular and significant personal preferences.
The aim of the Prelude Character Analysis is to provide fresh, relevant and practical information on personality to help people understand themselves and others and get the best out of their careers, relationships and life.
The test takes approximately 2-3 minutes to complete, after which you will be presented with a detailed profile for your personality type.

- (2016-02-05) David M Schaedler: I liked this test, but am still judging it. I wonder if they are deliberately pumping up the descriptions. I think they do that for a "more likely" than not personality description. Overall, pretty good.
- (2014-06-16) John G Tsang (JT gT JgT): 1/ i think i've come across , if not exactly the same , then very similar set of Questions elsewhere -- FREE both in Books and Websites . 2/ i had discovered this MBTI < Myers Briggs personality Types Indicators > MORE Than 20 years ago -- in college @ the COUNSELING Center ; 3/ for me and lot of my schoolmates and current friends , it's shockingly accurate : 4/ it should be , if you answer the question PROMPTLY Honestly -- your FIRST Instinct or feeling should be more accurate [ i.e., DON'T Doubt your INSTANT responses At All ] 5/ -- it Will HAVE BEEN being used by numerous HIGHER Educational institutions , and companies ; 6/ seemingly , STANDFORD is still doing research on it . 7/ { Kenneth Starkey @ Jan 24, 2013 } " sometimes the responses are really much relative to one another on a given question " = apparently , it is designed to Double and CROSS check our responses / Answers -- to see if they are CONSISTENT or Constant . 8/ Don't underestimate nor ignore it : unless you can get it done free from school , even certain schools may charge AT LEAST $20 -- commercially , it could be $100+ !!! #
- (2014-02-21) Katieh Brooks: The one word that comes to mind is WOW! This thing is right ON! And as far as some thinking it's awful... you do not understand WHY the questions are the way they are. It is not for you to figure out why they ask certain questions, it is for the answers to determine the "type" of character you have. There is no "right or wrong", it's just for CHARACTER.
- (2013-04-15) Louise Mucci: I like this app it is pretty accurate. I test in two catagories and both are similar but fit my personality and moods all the same.
- (2013-01-25) Kenneth Starkey: This thing is awful, each question only has two response options to it and sometimes the responses are really much relative to one another on a given question. On more than one occasion I found myself wanting to enter both responses on a given question about me. Save yourself the time and don't bother with this piece of junk.
